The fact that these guys still include such old songs in their sets is something I have always loved. Some bands will shy away from that almost like they are embarrassed of those songs but those songs are the ones they built their careers on. It makes it seem like thy don’t have confidence in the music they play. Enter Shikari never puts out a song that they will be embarrassed of the very next year. Plus I love the way they will tweak and update them. As a long time fan that is always fun to see how the music changes and adapts along with the band.

I just hope we're not waiting 6 years to hear The Bank of England live. I love what you said in full, Rou has stated that he's become more confident as a lyricist and it shows in the sound of his vocals and it shines through the band as a whole, I do hate when bands shy away from old songs and think "don't forget your roots, even if you can't do the songs vocally due to growls or shrieks, do softer vocals, you still have the guitars, so blast out those classics! I'm glad BMTH are including Count Your Blessings/Suicide Season songs in their recent sets again.

Well, I have yet to find evidence of them playing "acid nation", "kickin back on the surface of your cheek", "keep it on ice" or "empty" in recent memory. I would totally love if they would play their EP's, singles and pre-TTTS at their shows now to show how much they've really changed, adapted and grown over the years

@@PolarityMetal you have to link that, I know they can't play some songs due to copyright disputes with Merlin for some reason but I really don't know why Rou wouldn't want to play songs unless it's due to the amount of screaming (which he's cut back on alot even live) or because Rory wasn't a part of the band

You can feel so much love and passion, regardless of an specific genre or style of music, never shy of trying out new things and sounds and always full of energy and emotion. I agree with some of the other comments here, as someone finding it really difficult to enjoy "The Spark" the mix of this helps a lot because you can hear a lot more of the drive instruments as opposed to it being VERY synth & A Capella on the album itself. I've seen them live recently in Manchester, this also helped! Such a vastly different album to ANYTHING they've ever done. Great video from Kerrang, hopefully they could get some other bands to do this!

@@hanoota I was going to say that in the current climate surrounding presets and artificial/digital sound, you can play anything ON anything. I play a PRS and I swap from fusion to death metal.
