Those boats are just so well laid out. I always grew up with boats. But have been on a boat, briefly, in saltwater exactly 3 times. These definitely make me want to get into it though.
@jimmathon352 Жыл бұрын
Thank you Jason. Yup it's so utilitarian, you can sleep on it and spend a few days very comfortably. Bonus that you can get into eight inches of water and be close to a sand bar.

I love these boats! I’m looking for a C-dory 16 cruiser, with a 50 horse, for the Shuswap Lakes and Okanagan Lake, which lie in a high mountain valley between the Rocky and the Columbia Ranges in British Columbia. Calm waters, so my little 16’ won’t have to work to hard! There’re wonderful, super stable little boats with almost no draught! Perfect for overnighting on the lakes and running up on the hundreds of private little beaches around these huge fresh water lakes. I’ve gotta figure out a mounting for a custom Bimini and I’ll have the perfect boat for my needs! A pilot house is mandatory in the NW! Enjoy your 22’ - I’m sure it’ll serve you well and keep you super safe! And I love how you’ve got her kitted out! Fantastic! Peace

I'm thinking about buying one of those boats but I was just curious how long the The table that turns into a bed is. if you could measure that for me that would be a great help. I'm 6' 6 just trying to figure out if there could be a good spot for a bed in there for me. I'm not sure the front bed would fit me. Thanks love the content
@jimsflorida18173 жыл бұрын
Hi there I just measured it and it's 6 ft 2 in wall to wall where the dining room bed would be so it'd be a little short for you unless you slept a bit crouched or at an angle

Thanks for the video. Looking a buying one of these. Do you know the difference in performance and mileage for the single 90 vs twin 50’s. ?
@jimsflorida18173 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Fred. Good question on mileage between a single and twin I really don't have any idea on the twins, I think the new Yamaha gets about 3 to 4 miles per gallon based on watching Trip Smiths video. I'm much prefer a single engine than a twin the single engines are so reliable nowadays.

It was a cheap Walmart window AC unit the brand is Midea it's 16-in wide by 11-in tall and fits with enough room to put a little bit of foam around it.

Trip is good people get out there and live your life and explore. Don't trash where you splash and leave it better than you found it. I'm going to pass on sardine or egg salad breakfast, but if ever on one of his epic Adventures I would indulge. Mostly on the trip dips.
@jimsflorida18173 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's funny actually I do eat sardines once in awhile. I remember one of the Trips videos where he's like well what should I call this dinner...The Captains Platter... (can of sardines, octopus, and oysters or something I can't remember the third one). I'm still laughing at that one.

The bottom line here is, there is a tremendous vacuum for this style of light weight ( efficient to power small craft . Most manufacturers have missed the BOAT. Let’s call it “ camper cruiser . “. Shelter and mobility.

It's been a year. Is the 90 enough power? Do you wish you had gotten the 115? What was your influences for getting the 90 vs 115? Cheaper cost? Cheaper on fuel? Less weight on the transom? Supply shortage???? Thanks Love your clips.
@jimsflorida18172 жыл бұрын
90 is perfect. Plenty of power, jumps on plane easily. Boat is rated for max 90 from manufacturer. You put bigger motor insurance will deny coverage.

What did it cost to purchase the boat. Im on long island and very hard to find one. I found a 2008 20 footer for 20k
@jimmathon352Ай бұрын
A lot varies depending on if it has a new engine or not. I have approximately 52k invested which includes the boat, new Yamaha I had installed, and replaced two boat axles with new. Also if it has been stored inside or outside, mine has been out of weather under roof the whole time.
