Thank you for the kind words! I haven't taken her out in a while but I'm thinking about it. I had purchased a Class B van and that's been a diversion but I need to get back out on the water soon. Thank you for asking.

Captain Clark, you are awesome! Thank you for the kind words brother. Yeah I haven't been out in a while. I bought a Class B van and that's been so much easier so I got a little lazy. I've been thinking about taking that. C Dory out soon though. Hope you and yours are all well ❤️

@@jimsflorida1817 very cool indeed. I followed you a long time under the handle, The Bearded FishBilly. I don't know if you remember me or not but I changed my channel name last Fall when we finally bought our used 2003 C Dory 22. Let the good times roll man. I just love your videos. I'm starting to post some longer content soon with the Dory. God bless ya buddy. Always a pleasure Jim. 😎🤙

Didbyku use and boards under your polystyrene sheets never thought it would hold good way of keeping the cost done if you did looks good

Thank you for reaching out nope. Did not use any boards just the foam it's pretty strong. Aluminum frame helps keep it rigid

Hi, its just a styrofiam base painted green. Track set on it directly nothing else. So the track is not attached in any way.

Those boats are just so well laid out. I always grew up with boats. But have been on a boat, briefly, in saltwater exactly 3 times. These definitely make me want to get into it though.
@jimmathon352 Жыл бұрын
Thank you Jason. Yup it's so utilitarian, you can sleep on it and spend a few days very comfortably. Bonus that you can get into eight inches of water and be close to a sand bar.

@jimsflorida. I loved the video. I really admire your layout. I have mine in our family room. I am always on the lookout for a larger home here in DFW as I would like to create an outdoor racetrack around 200 ft or so. I’m looking for ways to weatherproof. Your lift system is a really great solution to a large layout and still useable space.

I moved to Florida in 2001 when you took your boat underneath the Fort Myers bridge you could see the bottom of the Bay by time I moved out of Florida four years ago. The pollution was so bad that Fort Myers water looks like the Mississippi river Boca grande is absolutely disgusting and they call it red tide. It’s not red tide. It’s from billions of gallons of treated. She was being pumped into that Ocean by all those condominiums down the coast line so quit calling it red tide.😢

That looked like an IPS pod drive that busted off in the reef. They are designed to break away so they do not damage the hull or leave a gaping hole that sinks the boat.
@jimmathon352 Жыл бұрын
Thanks I realized later watching it that it certainly wasn't an outboard.
