This is exactly the kind of Gungeon video I’ve been looking for I’ve been going for the platinum trophy and lost my save at 78% completion, took a break and found the willpower to unlock everything again lol. Why did you get a gun from the first boss? I thought you threw the empty shotgun?

throwing the gun/picking up a new gun doesnt guarantee an item, it just makes an item drop possible. theres also actually a detail i didnt cover in this video; floor 1 requires you are holding more guns than any other floor in the game to have any decent chances at an item from the boss. you can see this in the table linked here: imgur.com/a/5wtPRyo (castlegeon is floor 1)
