This video reminds me of when I used to travel to Jamaica with my family several times a year. The children loved it. Especially, chasing the baby animal and waking up early to go out with their grandfather to feed the animals. They are all professionals now and give back to Jamaica in many ways. It is interesting to see how the slave trade has dispersed and affected Africans. In Brazil you have an entire community of Afro-Brazilians speaking Portuguese; in Equatorial Guinea and entire country of Africans who speak Spanish; and of course in the U.S. where Afro-Americans speak English, just to name a few...and all due to the slave trade. You address none of the history or culture of the places you visit, you just go and enjoy the environment and culture that the people have been forced to either create for themselves or assimilate into without all of the depressing historical commentary. But I guess that's your point...good job.

Yes, Portugal and Spain are neighboors and most words between both languages are similar, but there are many differences, too. We have nasal sounds in Portuguese that don't exist in Spanish like in English. Also open sounds that they don't have. So, in general it's more difficult for them to understand Portuguese than the opposite. Differences in grammar, too. But, it's certainly easier for a person that has a native Latin language to learn another Latin language than a person of English language, for example.

You are spreading misinformation! Madureira is NOT EVEN CLOSE to being "an all Black Neighborhood". Not even in the Northeast of Brazil, where the highest black population is, you'll find an "all Black Neighborhood". In Bahia you might find something close to it though.
