Good Night is one of their heavier releases, and I love it. The K-Rock girl group Rolling Quartz also did an excellent cover of it. The Nightmare hunter casts spells to trap the members, but they get the book from him and turn it against him, trapping him behind the mirror. The next song in the Nightmare arc, "Fly High", is from the album "Prequel", which is a strong hint to consider. 😉 That is also a very interesting song.

He starts casting spells and captures the Wraiths one by one. However, the last ones manage to use a mirror and steal the Grimoire, then reverse the spells and trap him inside a mirror. The also break the spell that kept them bound in the Hotel and escape through the woods. However, they lose the Grimoire while escaping. But who captured them and kept them trapped as wraiths in that Hotel? [Continues in Fly High]

Until this Day good Night IS still my fav title track ever ❤ After the Nightmare series, its dystopia trilogy then apocalypse trilogy and then solos. Their b sides are a must watch. Wind Blows IS one of Their b sides and for me my fav DC song Ever ❤

dreamcatcher \:D/ the plot might clear up a bit in the next one, fly high, which is a prequel so you get to kind of see what happened :D they are also very fun live and should be back in the states this summer so if you in/near a big city, look for them! if you want to do a double feature with fly high, maybe you can check out a live fancam from a recent concert after the mv. here is a pretty good one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2eTimeEoaxrbck fly high is one of their more simple choreos, but still fun. maybe I'm a bit biased since it's one of my favorites from them.

Okay, so, Lore for DC can get pretty complicated and be really difficult to decipher. Broad strokes are that the events in Fly High, which is the prequel, sets off the events that lead to all of this. In Chase Me, the hunter shows up looking for them and after finding a way into the locked room (via an axe to the door) finds the original photo of the girls which lets him start trapping them. In Good Night, he and the other hunters (they show two in the forest chasing Yoohyeon & Siyeon) are still tracking down the members to try and trap them. They've already managed to catch Sua and Gahyeon, illustrated by their scenes being displayed in the book that the main guy has in his possession. Jiu, Dami, and Handong managed to escape into an alternate/mirror dimension and use the time there to steal the book and free Sua & Gahyeon. Then at the end of the MV you can see that they've managed to trap the hunter in the mirror world. After dealing with him they leave. The building/hotel in Chase me, Good Night, & Fly High are all the same location, just separated by significant time. I believe the events of Fly High take place close to 100 years before Chase Me. With all of that said, I wouldn't get too hung up on the storyline stuff to start with. it takes LOTS of views and analysis to really start putting stuff together and that will come with time, if that's something you want to get into. The lore is more of an "icing on the cake" since it's just an added layer to their amazing music. Even after the nightmare storyline ends their lore will continue but the concept will change with each storyline. For instance, the Dystopia trilogy is about the Tree of Language and how people forgot to say good things. The tree of language being an analogy for the internet and the themes of the songs/mvs being about online bully, hate speech, persecution, etc. While the Apocalypse trilogy is about the damage that we've done to our planet through pollution, greed, and war.
