i never knew how complicated it was to create an episode story until I decided that I wanted to wrtite one on my own and when i got to the episode writing page it looked so confusing bc you just dont understand what to do or how to even begin with anything. Thank you so much for making thsese videos because theyre actually very helpful for the ones that want to know how to get started. One tutorial that i hope to see is the background characters or the "extras". like lets say the setting is at a school and your character is walking down the hallway, do we have to customize each background character ? How do we get them to be placed at a certain spot ? All these questions that i have haha. Cant wait to see that tutorial!

With this walking on screen and exiting is done by default time would be amazing if you could add time frames in too, as this does help your character walk onto scene a little more smoothly xx

Honestly I miss the old episode, It was much easier to create with. The format was normal and well, easy...now I've come back to the game after a couple years and editing my old stories or creating new ones Is stressful. I know the basics, commands, bubbles, etc, but let's say I want a scene change to start with a character already on screen and using props, speaking, sleeping, whatever it may be--I can't figure it out. I started one of my scenes with my character sleeping, but when I preview she's not on the screen until I say something like "moves from here to here". It's all just so confusing. I guess I need to figure out layering, the tip they give for "maybe try move X to Y instead" and It just made things more confusing. Your tutorials are the only reason I didn't give up, honestly they're the only videos I found helped me with this topic. Thanks! Edit-I'm also curious how to get a character to do more than one animation in a row, I've seen It on stories I've read (Example-Ava Is sad and crying, she then runs off. Another question I had was how do you change the type of bubble, like a thought bubble, I'm unsure how to use those.

This is a bit late to comment now, but I was curious if you know what to do or knew what this meant. I tried using a walking animation for one of my characters while they exited a scene and it was called “walk_sing_energetic_loop” but I had a warning saying that this animation- “may not exist in all imitated body types” so I decided to use a different animation just in case.. Any tips possibly? Thank you for these videos, again very helpful!!! 🙌🏼😌

I haven't come across this error yet, but it may be due to an animation being specific to either the generic female body or the plus size body. If it still let's you publish even with the error, then I would ignore it 🙂

It depends on how many zones a background has. For example you can put for example: @cut to zone 2(etc) or @pan to zone 2

brackets is if we want aimation while they SPEAK :) notice that for speaking you do CAPS NAME (animation) and then text in new line. but for performing actions (with no dialogue) the code is different. @NAME is action_without_brackets :)

I'll make videos on sitting on chairs and sleeping in beds in the future! Thanks for the suggestions! With the background thing - it only ever shows a portion because phone screens are vertical, but you can cut to another zone of each background by writing: @cut to zone 2 Or @cut to zone 3
