hi, i’m sure you already know this by now but you have to spot direct it! instead of putting “ stands back “ you’ll just put the numbers spot directing gives you, also make sure you use layers, make the background charters layer -1 or 0! :)) i hope this makes sense. 🤍 if you still need help i have instagram and i’m willing to help. 🤍

So I want some background characters to be kissing at the start of a scene change I understand how to make them kiss and all that but I'm having trouble with one of them being there kissing the air until I go forward one line, then the next character appears and it looks how I want it. Did you write the and in all capital letters or all lowercase letters? If you wrote "And" as you did in the comment, it might be the reason it's not working 😊

So I figured this out finally--Example @CHARACTER1 spot 0.704 74 270 in zone 1 AND CHARACTER1 is kiss_makeout_loop AND CHARACTER1 faces right AND CHARACTER2 spot 0.740 124 261 in zone 1 AND CHARACTER2 is kiss_makeout_loop_rear AND CHARACTER2 faces right AND CHARACTER3 stands upscreen right AND CHARACTER3 faces left AND CHARACTER3 is film_phone_neutral_loop So basically it's all normal coding just don't change lines and don't @ the next character if you want them to all start on screen at the same time. Just keep it all in the same paragraph and type AND. Lowercase is fine too. Good luck!

I've been seriously struggling with making characters stand in a spot with a more specific location like " spot 1.323 177 44" for example, and I can't for the life of me find anything that explains it, or can at least simplify it for me. Sometimes using back left, back far left, back right,back far right, upscreen left and upscreen right just doesn't work well for some of the scenes. Make sure you place all of your characters first before you tell them to do any actions. If you have a character perform an action before all of them are placed, the others will wait for that action to be complete before they pop into the scene. Hope this helps!

The kneel options is what I think most ppl use, I believe Ink had an actual rear view punch dodge animation ( dodge_rear) but it hasn't been moved over to LimeLight

There are 2 issues - the 2nd @ symbol shouldn't be there, and neither should the brackets around the animation. Try this: @CAMELLA stands upscreen left AND CAMELLA faces right AND CAMELLA starts cry_sniff_sad_loop I hope this helps! 🙂

Can someone please tell me how to stop my character from popping out of thin air like magic instead of just being there already when I pan to a zone in preview? Its driving me insane. I think you need to change the code like this: @character spot … in zone 2 @pan to zone 2 Basically place the character before panning to zone 2 and make sure to put in zone 2 so they’ll be in the right zone
