Entering the Hall of Valor without Fighting Tsun

The Hall of Valor normally cannot be entered until Tsun is bested in battle. On the whalebone bridge, lightning strikes will hit, and most likely kill the player. Using Whirlwind Sprint midway on the bridge, then immediately eating a netch jelly will ragdoll the Dragonborn, catapulting them past the lightning strikes. Repeating the same process just before reaching the final steps in front of the entrance will launch them into the door, which must be opened before the ragdoll effect ends, or they will automatically be killed. Attempting to exit the hall, without eating a netch jelly before opening the door will also result in the player automatically dying.

Thanks! Ice spiders are better since Alduin is weak against frost, and resistant to fire. Plus, they would take forever on legendary difficulty.

Can you reenter the hall of valor after leaving if you do this and not progress the quest then go back to fight Tsun to progress the quest normally?

You should be able to. The Hall of Valor remains unlocked until Alduin is defeated.

It's a single use summon lesser power you can get from the Beast Stone in Solstheim, you need to cleanse it to be able to receive the power, and to re-retrieve said summon you need to go back to that stone and re-activate it
