Just wondering why you don't get a proper pet bowl for the cat food instead of using paper plates or throwing it right on the deck. It would look better and less clean up after. But maybe you have a particular reason.

David, I started doing eBay around 2013-2014 and stopped about a year ago. Just BE careful with scammers on eBay. The key to eBay if you MUST list a lot and consistently or eBay won’t “promote” your items. I’ve sold thousands of items on eBay and honestly I made some really good money but it became a pain because you have to constantly list items. Plus eBay and PayPal are constantly raising their fees. When I did eBay it was fun but ultimately life got in the way and I lost motivation after like 6 years. Key is to constantly check thrift shops and goodwill. Clothing can definitely score some big profits too. I didn’t have much success with retail arbitrage. I did a few items I’d find on clearance but I mainly did men’s clothing, electronics and random kitchen items. Get a good back drop with good lighting. Good luck man.

And depending on the shoes, I sold a lot of them. Plus USPS has priority shipping shoe boxes that work perfect for shoes.

Also...lol I would stay away from from big items bc they will be super expensive to ship, UNLESS you know the profit is worth it and you charge for shipping.

i have a few questions 1. (silly question) now that you do retail arbitrage would you ever go dumpster diving? a lot of stores throws out good condition items. (look up videos) 2. would you ever buy abandon storage lockers? aka (storage wars) where people stop paying and it goes up for auction.

Hey David, sorry I haven’t commented in a while!! I love this vlog. I used to do the same with purses and shoes. I would buy mostly from goodwill and sell it on eBay. I don’t have as much time now but as a part of my job I take a group of special needs adults to the thrift store run by the organization I work for. We get work through all the donations and I get to price a lot of it. So I know the inventory and I also get 50% the price so I’ve been thinking about going back into the eBay thing. This is an inspiring vlog. Thanks!!

david, i buy a lot of books off amazon and ebay (using the "used" tag bc why pay full price for a book just to have some unwrinkled pages). it might be worth it to go through that goodwill's book section and see if you can find anything that will sell for $7+. edit: i just thought about this, but i know a lot of people will buy skincare off ebay (check r/skincareaddiction and you can see what types of skincare are hot commodities, off the top of my head i know "drunk elephant" and "the ordinary" are very popular types of skincare). if you have a marshall's or TJmaxx near you, typically, skincare will be heavily discounted despite it still being good and okay to use.

I've been doing this randomly for years. A couple months ago I saw milwaukee power tools were on an amazing sale at Home Depot, so I picked up 3 sets of a 3/8" electric ratchet/ 1/2" impact wrench with charger. I split them up and sold everything separately, took only a couple weeks and sold everything for $320 profit on $645 spent. Not too shabby lol

Make sure you hit up the Five Below store in Rockvale Outlets. There is also another Walmart north on Fruitville Pike, which might have different items on clearance! The Goodwill Store on Lincoln Hwy. is, imo as a Lancaster thrift store shopper, one of the larger and cleaner of the brand, although I don't think the selection changes all that much, except for holiday display stuff. Plus, whatever you find doesn't sell on those platforms, you can always put it out "at cost" at the annual yard sale! If you invest the thought in the objects as well as the price, you can easily do this! You know, in your "down time"! :-)
