Dan is so awesome. I met him once, and he looked like he wanted to be anywhere else than where he was, but he’s just awkward and thats part of the charm. I’ve followed his career for a while and know he’s uncomfortable putting himself out there, but I appreciate the picture he took with me and for him. Letting me buy him a beer. Big appreciation for Dan the man.

So nice to see Dan on the channel, the new EE is so sick and I'm hyped as fuck for this album. Also Dan is spot on about deathcore kids, same stuff happens all over the metal community. Some people just don't like genre blending. That's fine, though, they can always just spin the old records. Do what makes you happy as a musician.

It's good to hear somebody finally mentioned carnifex. I don't think you've covered them at all yet on this channel and it would be really cool to see you and Scott break down a song, or even just react to a song of theirs. Scott's been doing vocals for a long ass time and he's super clean and refined with what he does. I also really enjoyed this song, and it was her first listen for me of this band. I can understand why some people aren't a fan of change. Listening to new architects, I definitely feel it. But with this group, I really like to clean sections that he did and I found the chorus to be moving. Very emotional and very powerful.
