A war on both earths happens like 1000+ years ago. The only difference is just one person dies over there lives here. Different decisions made in both realities with and without this same person. Yeah, they ended Enterprise as it was starting to get good. Because of it's cancellation, we'll never know what happened to Mirror T'Pol, Phlox or if Reed recovered from his serious injuries. Also if that drug Hoshi put in Archer's drink actually killed him or just knocked him unconscious. And if Tucker became loyal to Hoshi after declaring herself Empress like Mayweather did.

I really loved this episode. It was dark and done to near perfection. This was also the perfect mid-season break from the ongoing storyline. However, I did have one issue with this episode.... The problem is the fans themselves, we didn't support the shows, we complain so much about this form of entertainment the producers just say screw it we will make a generic form of trek for a wider audience and make what we can. I couldn't agree more. I think it was the intro imo, that's what i seemed to hear people moaning about, and didn't commit to the show. I'm a true fan, and therefore watched it religiously. Holy Vulcan! I didn't even consider this until now! I think thats because i never had a wrong word to say about it. Start to finish it was a favourite of mine and brings back good memories of Sunday afternoons. A lot of thewriters are also to blame though, I have the novel of Star Trek Nemesis and the writer (John Logan) was asked to sit down with Brent Spiner and Rick Berman and he knew more about the show than the creators and actors cause he is an ardent trek fan and most writers aren't so you end up with haphazard episodes of mishmash the writers and producers know nothing about.

I kind of wished it was Archer that had ascended to the throne of the Empire. But in this universe, he was hot tempered, irrational, prone to violence, and jealous of his enemies and their victories. While I really like Hoshi Sato, I could have seen "Emperor and Empress Archer" take the throne and the Empire to new heights. If only they had the intelligence, wit, and professionalism that their Federation counterparts had. Or we could have just made everyone happy and seen T'Pol take the throne.
