A beautiful story. His journey is so similar to most veterans. His grief is so profound. He is heartbroken to think that his actions caused his friend's death. Most veterans can relate.

this kind of animation shows us the views of Old Soldiers and the kind of world that they would leave behind: Omega-102 saw to carry on fighting to the bitter end and to destroy the enemy and anyone that dares to side with them, and thus he never grew beyond his initial purpose as a soldier and ended up dying forgotten, Omega-626 on the other hand had dedicated his efforts to building a new future for those that would come after he is gone, and because of that: the world that he once failed to protect would now bloom safely and healthy for future generations. Omega-626 embodied the true image of what a Warrior is supposed to represent underneath the surface, while Omega-102 was just the purported image of what most Warriors believe themselves to be.

If you would accept a Soldier as the equivalent of a Warrior, then the vast majority of them feel this way already. You don't become a soldier to kill. You do it to help, and protect.

Four years later and this beautiful short film still makes me cry happy tears!! I really wish that whoever created this would consider making a entire series about this... Because I believe that the World needs more happiness like this... What a tragic and beautiful story... To the creator of this EPIC short story; Thank you so much for creating this and sharing it with us all!! ❤❤❤ You are a awesome soul!!!

Despite the many other meanings in this short film, I see primarily the idea of the deadliness of fear. The girl's fear of the gun shackled the weapon, which was the cause of her sad end. Weapons are not to be feared, but we must be able to put them aside when the time of war ends and the time of peace begins.

I never used to watch these types of shows as a child yet here I am at 62 years of age saying "WoW" Moreso because I am also on the path to becoming a light bearer after much tossing and turning through life's matrix of lies and deceit from our global leaders since time as we know it, began for us! Movies like this speak volumes for actual life battles, and also for the people who create these movies; I never realised how deep you guys dive into reality from this perspective (dimension), one could create a great guide map from these movies in terms of helping planet earth humankind evolve into what we all are ... I've never cried like this at a cartoon. It's heartbreaking both the death of the girl and the death of the robot. But at least they'r efforts weren't in vain.

She was trying accomplish. It was sad that was not able to see it all come to fruition. I cried for her. And years later or centuries later another girl came along with a resemblance to the first one, and when he saw her he gave a salute as to job done or mission accomplished. And it shows outside the facility and for miles and miles everything is green.

It was bittersweet. She didn't live to see her dream fulfilled, but she did live to see it started, and even if she lived to be 100, that was all she was going to get to live to see. The robot was the hero of the story, a warrior dragged out of war and given a new purpose to heal.

Heavy CO2 concentration in the atmosphere maybe? Plants would love, animals would die. Might take mass reforestation to balance out.

you know, i told my self, "Self, don't watch this, it will leave you feeling sad and heart broken." Yes, yes it did. I know what was going to happen the moment the other robot started shooting. that sucks. I do want to know what kind of war was going on that brought about the whole trashed planet. It looks like the same type of robots were on either sides....and humans were on both as well. Looks like a good plot. Dif ending. Robot puts the girl in a robot suit to save her life. Kinda like what Shrike was going to do with Hester Shaw in mortal engines. just an idea.

I don’t know if anyone noticed this, but the girl reminded me of Lilo and the robot since it had 626 written onto it had me thinking Stitch, so wow this was really good really sad too but I can understand the dedication and the animation that was for this this was great thank you for making my dayand who is making this they did a great job to❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
