Ya and they made cheer look bad. Like all these “popular kids” actually have no future with cheer. I was like what cheerleader hurt you!?
@Elizabeth-cm6sy4 жыл бұрын
Alex Tejeduh They’re right though. Besides becoming a cheer coach there is no future in cheer after collegiate level. You can’t make a career out of it like you can with tennis or soccer or even gymnastics or acrobatics. As of right now there is nothing after that. I was a competitive cheerleader in the past and watching Cheer really brought up some bittersweet memories because I remember what it was like to put so much hard work into a sport I knew I didn’t have a future in no matter how good I was or how much I loved it and that was a bitter pill to swallow. But they did a good job with the docu-series, it really captures what it’s like to be a competitive cheerleader.
@AlexTejeda_4 жыл бұрын
No I know! I did cheer to. I know there’s no career. But they almost make it look like you just have no direction after. Which I get, but I think it’s positive to be in cheer in a team and having an extracurricular activity. It helped me stay out of a lot of trouble to!
@Elizabeth-cm6sy4 жыл бұрын
Alex Tejeduh Yeah I get that I didn’t really like that part either but at the same time I like the “gritty and dark” theme they had with it. They didn’t try and gloss over the bad and rough parts of the sport that so many other series and documentaries do.

The producers also seemed to make a huge point of showing Lexi vaping... seemed like a point they were trying to make the whole season. That was unnecessary. I don't doubt that everyone featured in 'Cheer' will have amazing lives'- if they can overcome what they have already, nothing is going to get in their way in achieving their dreams. 'Cheer' is redefining how people are looking at cheerleading too & changing the belief that cheerleaders just look cute & wave their pom poms- the athleticism & skill Navarro show is on another level. I hope anyone struggling in life can have hope by watching Cheer & seeing love, support and a different kind of 'family' is out there & there is a way through the difficult times in life & out the other side. I wish her all the happiness in the world and of course the rest of the team. !!! I love these guys. I would also love to see how Morgan is doing??!! Her story was so sad. I just wanted to wrap her up and give her cuddles and make her feel safe. She is another fighter and one who I wish nothing but happiness for!! 🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤

She's my favorite. I just like the way Lexi is 100% herself...She don't fake anything, she' s just natural..And I love that

That rave scene was very misleading. So glad she clarified it!

Lexi is going to be successful in her life. I have no doubt. She's very self aware. She's young, I did insane things at her age & went on to become a successful business owner.

The greedy bastards at Varsity Cheer changed the rules a few days after this show dropped and from what I understand they can either do the season 2 or they can compete at Daytona, they cant do both.
