Alex Tejeduh They’re right though. Besides becoming a cheer coach there is no future in cheer after collegiate level. You can’t make a career out of it like you can with tennis or soccer or even gymnastics or acrobatics. As of right now there is nothing after that. I was a competitive cheerleader in the past and watching Cheer really brought up some bittersweet memories because I remember what it was like to put so much hard work into a sport I knew I didn’t have a future in no matter how good I was or how much I loved it and that was a bitter pill to swallow. But they did a good job with the docu-series, it really captures what it’s like to be a competitive cheerleader.

Lexi is really a special person. She has a good kind soul and I related to her the most while watching the documentary. I love Lexi so much! It upsets me how they made her look at the end. I was SO happy to hear she's back on the team! It was so easy to see she didn't want to fall back into old habits again, she grew up too much to do so!
