Omg Im just now getting into listening to J's music. My 5 yr old granddaughter and I lay in bed at bedtime and have JellyRoll jam session. It brings tears to my eyes to watch her sing with his videos. I also just watched a video of him describing his views or believes on Jesus and christians portrayal of the religion as a whole. I agree with him on how he sees it all(christianity).I've never heard anyone lay it out in the terms like he did. IT MADE SENSE TO ME. IT HELPED ME IN A WAY,I DIDN'T REALIZE. I had to quit a job last year after my boss literally unleashed a screaming tirade on me one night about my weight. I told him that his anger was so unwarranted since he was not saddled with the burden of carrying around so much as an ounce of it and then I told him that he must have spent his whole life feeling lucky that people did not judge his very short stature with the same harsh measuring stick by which he judges others. He was such a miserable man. The funny thing is, it truly didn’t hurt my feelings at all. It just made me SO angry that he took such personal umbrage with an issue for which, I alone, bear the burden.

My late brother was over 500lbs, he was 450 at the time of his death. He struggled with his weight his entire life. He became a recluse because of it. I've spent the last 40 years defending larger people. I've even thrown down with someone because of it when I was much younger and didn't have my current self control. When I see the nasty comments regarding Jelly Roll, that same fierce, sisterly protectiveness comes out. I was even reported for it, but it won't stop me. Momma Bear keep putting these nasty, hateful, vile individuals in their place and know you have a HUGE support system to have your back on this topic. My brother resembled JR and I would say they have a lot of similar qualities as well, so I am drawn to JR. I would be happy and honored to be a surrogate sister to him. I was beat up by boys who liked me, then the girls were jealous in grade school. I was smart and quiet, called teachers pet. I gained weight because my sister beat me up at home too. My older less cute sister was mean too. I was like Cinderella. Then I was picked on for being fat. I starved and was picked on for being skinny. My thin pretty long blond hair was too thin, too blonde, accused of dying it, called bleachy. I had an accident and was cut, called scarface. All this by 16. I was offered modeling jobs so I was called stuck up. So I withdrew. Basically no matter what, even if you look like a model, some ahole is going say mean things, because they are jealous, ignorant and evil. Other than them, Corn syrup is the devil in my book...it makes you crave more junk food. And it's all by design. I read Oreos are addicting as crack cocaine. Being on the road makes it even harder to eat well. The man has to eat. Get yourself a traveling chef to make the meals ya'll like in just the healthier version. Men need more calories. I'm sorry people are mean. Karma and or God will fix their wagons.
