Authenticity is authenticity, period and another person can’t give an opinion about someone else being true to themselves when they don’t even personally know said person. You clearly don’t follow her much because her catalog includes projects both before and after her time at a major labor and she’s got other variations of Nasty, so to speak, in her history (as recently as 333 and Songs For You). Good thing you ended your comment with your preference cuz that’s all it is but she doesn’t owe it to anyone to make a certain kind of music
