He’s a pretty accomplished, Grammy award winning producer. I think he wanted to illustrate that they were spontaneously creating ideas together in the room, not making a pre-programmed beat on the computer to send someone. But even the TINIEST amount of musicality being displayed is a pretty big contrast to the average the trap, pop, hip hop, rnb producer, who doesn’t play any instruments … in my opinion.
