Great day for Irish and Greek nominees and winners ... (I'm Irish but mostly raised in Greece lol). I thought McFadden's win was a well-won point of recognition. He has been a good actor for many years - although I'm not a fan of Succession personally. I thought Matt Bomer would win, but was pleased to see Steve Yuen the final choice for the award. A tough category for sure. I also thought Willem Dafoe would win, but well done Downey Jr. - another tough category there! Thank God Emma Stone won and not Robbie or Portman (hard luck for Pöysti too, who'd have lose votes to those two). I'd argue that Stone's film nomination category was comparatively less competitive than the bloody tough TV series category where she was also nominated! p.s.
