I (for one) would rather see the likes of Amy and Tina poking fun (and occasionally hitting hard) where it's due, without coming across as cynical and miserable, like Gervais in his last Golden Globes gig. The people in charge of these award shows want TV ratings above all else, and Tina and Amy's style appeals to a wider net than Gervais's "burn 'em all down" approach. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Ricky Gervais ripping celebrities apart, but year after year? Ehhhh. Too much of a good thing.

First her suggestion that a movie star would ever do porn allows Tina Fey to say "Pretty sure she has no plans to do porn (because she's a movie star, why would she)" This sets up the line when Amy Poehler says "no one has PLANS to do porn" implies that any female (especially those that end up in porn) never PLANNED to end up in porn, but still end up in porn. It also implies that even a successful person can end up in porn despite their plans
