So men shouldn’t value and respect women as equals?
@thespadestable2 ай бұрын
@@drakeuchiha2007 - Women are not equal to men, and men are not equal to women. The trans swimmer, and now these two questionable women boxing other women in the Olympics are clear cut examples as to how the genders are not equal. When the question of American women being required to sign up for selective service, and subject themselves to being drafted, while their local, state, and federal poltical votes count just as equal to men, near none of them then mentions anything about women should be viewed as equal to men and get called up to fight. No, men and women are not equal, but they should be granted equal justice (and consequences) in the eyes of the law, and when it comes to education, the advancement of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And nowhere does it read that it's mandatory for a woman to be viewed as equal "prize" in a marriage. The fact that we are having this discussion shows how life in the US has actually gotten, that trivial things is considered something to take note of.

Since they both were local, they met up days later, enjoyed what they could in Houston due to Covid lockdowns, and by the holidays, she was posting booh'ed up photos of each other. The only reason why people knew of Jonathan is due to him not moving on after knocking her back out the first few times, because her own timeline shows she'd jumped from one d*ck and onto the next pretty quickly. Hence the reason why she's been in this defense mode for the longest, because she has her own guilt and reservations on how things between them came about.

There’s self confidence and then there’s ego…. his comment was 1000% EGO. When someone says your wife is a catch and your response is “I’M the catch”, that ABSOLUTELY is denying she’s a catch, she’s delusional if she isn’t aware of that. There’s some kind of disconnect with reality, like she is completely unaware of what a good man actually is or has had horrible male role models in her life or maybe lacks self confidence in herself and is therefore willing to accept that kind of treatment… regardless, that was not okay. And he was not joking either. I’m not saying divorce him, it’s her life, and her choice, but their relationship seems to involve a little bit of emotional abuse imo, with the way she’s defending him and completely blind to what he did wrong.
@cordbarnes5 ай бұрын
He never denied that she’s a catch. He was asked “How did you pull her?” That insinuates that he pursued her, which they both acknowledge is not the case. She pursued him. I don’t hear anything that he said as disrespectful. In fact, the question he was asked was a bit disrespectful because it suggested that he is below her and inherently is unworthy of mutuality in within the relationship. I think people projected their own hang ups onto this couple. If he didn’t know who Simone Biles was, then so be it. Many people complaining probably couldn’t name their U.S. representative or their senator. Plenty people don’t know about someone who others see as exceptionally influential and significant. At the end of the day, we are all people. Being the husband or wife doesn’t suddenly make you more worthy of defense or less worthy of being pursued. A good man knows the worth of those he loves but he also knows his own worth as well.
@The.Hawaiian.Kingdom5 ай бұрын
@@cordbarnes You’re defining “how did you pull her” as an insinuation of pursuing… then you later say that exact same question insinuates “that he is below her and is inherently unworthy of mutuality within a relationship”… one sentence can’t mean two completely separate things, you’re contradicting yourself. “How did you pull her” doesn’t insinuate pursuance at all, it suggests an acquiring of her, and that doesn’t require him to pursue her, it only requires he win her over, whether he pursued her or the other way around. It’s irrelevant to this discussion, in so far and you and I are concerned, to discuss him claiming to not have known who she was. The reason it’s irrelevant, is *I NEVER MENTIONED IT !* You wasted your time ranting about it to me, when I never even brought it up, in fact I have no problem with him saying that because I’m not irrational, I understand that he likely isn’t into gymnastics or possibly even the Olympics and therefore he easily could not have known who she was. I think it’s generally understood that asking someone “how they pulled that”, is asked lightheartedly in a way to not make it inappropriate to praise or compliment the persons spouse/partner. Therefore a normal person wouldn’t be offended by such a question… an insecure person who can’t take a joke, is threatened by the success or praise of their spouse and/or has an ego so big that he or she can’t tolerate people praising someone else when they’re in the room, however… sure, someone like THAT may find it offensive. This isn’t about him knowing his worth, it’s about him allowing others to acknowledge HIS WIFES worth, without undermining that acknowledgment by diverting it to himself & boasting about his own worth. A GOOD man, doesn’t feel the need to steal his wife’s thunder, on the contrary a GOOD man basks in the pride of having a wife worth praising.
