We all get mad at insignificant things until, as you relayed, we view something like this. I had made a promise to myself this new year not to sweat the small stuff. We don't realize that most things will pass and are not worth getting angry about. I learn new lessons each day, even at 60.

@@calpurniasdream852 I am also 60, and it is hard sometimes not to worry and become anxious over things. The last year especially has been really tough on me and my husband because of multiple surgeries and illnesses. A lot of it because of putting off medical care in 2020. I followed Melanie before she even got sick, and I was really hoping she would be able to beat this cancer. Extremely rare.

What a beautiful, sweet and gifted woman. I am so sorry for her family. She looked so healthy as if she was lit up by an internal light. She positively glowed with goodness. RIP you perfect soul.

Sometimes, even people who appear healthy, are very sick. That’s why we should never judge people or assume that they aren’t fighting some internal battle. I respond simply because I too “appear healthy” but have had cancer myself, in remission Thank GOD, but now suffer dehabilitating symptoms from other “silent” illnesses and because I look healthy “on the outside,” my insides scream a very different story. It’s so frustrating getting even close family members to understnd or remember that sometimes.

What came to mind is, the angels leave a legacy in us. We get the opportunity to show what we have learned by helping and giving to the ones who need it. I believe heard something relative to Hinduism, saying when ppl present them selves in off putting ways it just a piece of God who is acting outside itself since God is in all humans. I think it's a good thing to ponder as long as we don't leave our minds in low vibrational space.

I first came across Melanie's channel looking for how to sew a quilt. I've only been sewing for two years (a hobby born out of covid) and was so happy to use her "Your First Quilt" 4 part tutorial. (I posted my beautifully flawed quilt that I'm still quite proud of, with a huge credit and thanks to her). Since then, I had checked in numerous times for other great techniques. She was such a great teacher, and so positive and wonderful to learn from and work along side via her channel. I learned of her cancer only a few months ago from seeing some of her older posts. This is such sad and shocking news. She was so young and vibrant, a beautiful mom, and an inspiration. My condolences to her family on their tremendous loss.

So sad to hear about Melanie Ham. I came across her KZbin channel when pandemic began , when I wanted to sew a face mask; she was the one I picked because her tutorial was clear and easy to understand and simple to, straight to the point, the way tutorials should be, since then I started following her, I also learned to make box pouch because of her, and I made several of them and gave them as gifts. She's very talented. RIP Melanie and condolences 💐 to your husband and kids.

Thank you to Melanie's family for allowing her channel and work to stay here. I found her today, February 2024 while searching for lighted Christmas tree skirrs. I decided to look at her other videos and discovered she has passed away...But, like Dorcas in the Scriptures, her work remains, and we can see the good she had done--including her PSAs about fire safety at Christmas time. May God continue to bless you all.

Losing a loved one at any age is difficult. I didn't know her but reading about her I can tell she was an amazing woman. She shared her love, kindness and talents with the world and that will be her legacy. A legacy her children can be proud of. My condolences go out to her family and friends. May God give you the strength, peace and comfort you need at this difficult time.

When such a good person dies, it always makes me wonder "why them", they were good. Melanie is another one of the good people who brightened the world and who leaves brightness here to grow. She brightened and loved her family; she loved her work and her followers. She made a difference with her teachings in Honduras. My condolences to her family and loved ones, they must have meant so much to her and she to them. RIP

I watch her video and can't help but feel anger. I see how gentle, kind, giving and attractive this women was. I look around and think why her, why not take the life of someone more deserving. I guess that statement is a matter of perspective. Lorin
