I miss you. It’s hard to rewatch these videos. I always enjoyed watching. I made this blanket before and I’m going to make another. You were a great teacher.

I stumbled upon this video in my feed today and immediately clicked because I loved the blanket; its gorgeous. I tend to read some of the comments on videos I watch, and my eyes fell on "rest in peace," and my heart hurt. I then clicked over to Melanie's page and watched the documentary on her journey, which left me feeling inspired by her attitude and saddened by the pain that she and her family endured. Melanie was a gem of a soul. Thank you for sharing. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will certainly be crocheting some of her designs.

Melanie, I watched the Berry Blanket stitch video. It took a couple of rows of practice but I have it! I have a granny square blankie I’m working on but this is perfect for my grown nieces! I’m a tight crocheter...and you made a recommendation a while back about using a larger hook for the foundation row so your project lies flat. You are absolutely correct. I totally recommend this to anyone that has a similar problem. I sincerely hope you’ll feeling better. Please don’t rush back making new projects for us....your health comes first.
