I just don’t get why Arrow ended great and Flash has been up and down. It’s crazy how much what the writers do id of kept the same writer for the whole show like S1 writer bring him back lol. All in all grant has been a great Barry Allen and Flash this show did a lot they brought John Wesley Shipp in made him Barry’s dad & Flash again after years! & then all the multiverse stuff and Barry and Oliver’s friendship was one of my favorite things about this whole show and universe

He poured his soul into this show, a great part of his life, and made a very relatable Barry Allen. Even if the writing felt off a couple of times, his acting made everything believable and would get you at the edge of your seat. The emotions Barry Allen felt, the people watching would feel together be it sadness, rage, despair, everything.

I really appreciate that Grant knows he'll be associated with The Flash for the rest of his life, and that he's enthusiastic or positive about it. So many actors get a life defining role and then spend the rest of their careers trying to run away from it and be known for something else. I sincerely want to take time to thank Grant Gustin and the entire cast of Flash. When Flash first started I had recently lost my godmother who was my closest family member at that point of my life and Flash was a show that brought joy, laughter and happiness through a very dark period in my life. I’ve legitimately grown up with this show because I was 16 when it started and I’m now 25 and have so many happy memories watching this and other Arrowverse shows over these last 9 years. It’s really bittersweet that it’s ending but I’m looking forward to continuing to rewatch it and to see Grant Gustin in other roles as well.

I was mesmerized when i first saw season 1. Could 't believe the production value even just for TV. The impact it had on the tv superhero genre too, really paved the way for others. Grant Gustin will forever be the perfect Flash, and won't have serious competition for the best portrayel of Barry for at least another 20-30 years and even then it would be very difficult to even come close to what Grant has done with the character. I feel so sorry for him that he had to work with some very bad and horrible scripts from season 6 onwards when Eric Wallace took control and completely destroyed the whole vibe of the show. I wish they also kept the writers of the first 5 seasons since they knew what they were doing and really prepared and put easter eggs in episodes which would be talked about in the next few seasons, that really required planning and they always managed to pull it off. While the writers from season 6 onwards just went along with it without amy actually planning in advance, made Iris disappear for a full season and even when Iris came back the writers didn't allow Barry and Iris to be a married couple and actually kiss, they made them seem more like friends than a couple which was shameful. If only he had better scripts he would have done wonders with the character.

The Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl series were what originally got me into comic book media. I'd never even seen an MCU movie, but the Arrowverse got me so interested that I started watching anything to do with comics, and then reading as many of them as I could. While Arrow and Supergirl were both VERY different than their original comics, Grant Gustin truly got close to the heart of what the flash is even in comics. Grant Gustin will always be "my" flash.

Shepp, for the longest time, was MY Flash. Then Grant came along and suddenly I had TWO Flashes that are MY Flashes. It filled me with such joy to see them working together. Both are such genuinely good guys and it showed in their acting. And, as an aside, "Running Home to You" is one of my all time favorite songs now.

This was hands downnnn my absolute favorite show everrrr. And I am 48… ok the first 7 or so seasons of Dr Who are also up there for me. LOL. But I loved it and felt the ending made me want more. I always loved it because of the characters. I want to see what happens with everyone after the last show. It was so beautifully ended in my opinion in so many ways. Thank you Grant and everyone for what you brought into our lives.

Other than The Flash from the comics, Grant is the best Flash, in my personal opinion. What a guy, what an actor, one of my all time favorites. He put his heart and soul, his all, into this character, and really brought it to life, to the best of his own ability. I'll forever be grateful of that, of him, and his performances. Thank you, Grant, so much, always.

omg how awesome would it be if barry came back as henry allen? Or the OG FLASH? I would lose my mind. But Grant will always go down in history as the best portrayed Barry Allen on the CW. His humanity, his worth ethic, his sacrifices, speeches, his love was truly epic.

Grant has been amazing as Barry / Flash he certainly fits it better imo than Ezra and his and Stephan Amells friendship is one of the best things of the whole Arrowverse . Oliver and Barry best relationship whole show & they brought John Wesley Shipp back to be the Flash! That’s been a hell of a thing this shows done a lot

Still missing the flash... I started it in 2014 and continued up until the end and it's just so weird living without it because I always had the flash every year to watch and enjoy

I honestly am so happy for Grant to move on. I love the Flash show, really, but Grant is too great of an actor to not be doing other great projects. I really want to see him in other roles, because he is such a great actor
