I love the energy of this! so chill and natural. nia is the truth. a real woman. I love what she said at the beginning about being protective over her culture. That was nice to hear. I am too, always gotta look out for the culture vultures.

It's so annoying how they never acknowledge Nia in "Made In America" with Whoopi Goldberg, Ted Danson and Will Smith in his first film. That film is so funny, romantic and it's a childhood favorite of mine.

My good God, Mrs. Long still looks unbelievably gorgeous and her voice is very sweet and soft. She looks like the real life version of Pocahontas. I have to relax now. I think somethin is wrong with my brain because lately, I have become attracted to well aged fine Black women. I am goin to have to email KZbin and insult them for makin it’s algorithmic program put videos of my kryptonite, in female form, on my recommended list way too much as of late. Tryna make me soft but I will remain focused and disciplined! But god damn, what an angel!

Love Nia Long! She is Real!,

Disagree about her going to the white man being cliched. Maybe if Nia truly broadened her personal dating horizons she might be married and not just perpetually engaged. I have nothing but respect for her as an actress. I just would have loved to see her win her personal life too. No disrespect intended.

@MzBossLady Really, she is sending mixed messages then. The purpose of an engagement is the complete opposite of everything you said. It is to commit, in fact engagement is a first step in marriage. Unfortunately some women get hoodwinked into a perpetual state of engagement when what they really want is marriage. And then they will grin and bear it trying to save face or talking about not needing to be married. Well if that is the case why get engaged and stay engaged. She is clearly hanging in limbo and it doesn't do younger women out here any good to pass it off as some desirable state of being when what older women should be teaching younger women is how not to be finessed and how not to waste your youth. Once it has gone, it has gone.

@MzBossLady I don't think the choosing flows in both directions. A woman who gets engaged and stays engaged to a man indefinitely is settling for what she can get. It is apparent to all and only young, naive people would believe otherwise. If she didn't need marriage she wouldn't have got engaged, and stayed engaged. He, of course, will marry, and the speed of it might surprise you, when he meets the right one. Just watch that space.

@MzBossLady As I recall you responded to my comment, not the other way around. If it isn't that serious one would imagine you wouldn't have been moved to comment. Or is what you actually mean, 'if I cannot convince someone of my thinking I will try to patronise them instead'. It is indeed their lives...thank God, and these are indeed my thoughts, so I will continue to express them as I wish.😘

@MzBossLady Yes, you did respond to my comment, and thought it well-placed to try to ridicule my comment, even if accompanied by a smile emoji(I understand passive aggressive and patronising😉). Clearly it 'is 'that important to you' because you are back again...commenting again...😘
