The lyrics are from runic inscriptions on gold bracteates (gold discs thinner than coins about 1-4 inches in diameter) from the 400’s to 500’s in Northern Europe. I believe Anoana is a Vættir, a land spirit, an embodiment of the seas, rivers, forests, tundra and I believe she merged with the musk ox. Maria Franz of Heilung said Anoana may return.

I believe Anoana was merging with her spirit animal; note she tried to connect with the moose (?) earlier when she was young, but found the oxmusk later (still as a child), but wasn't ready, yet. Anoana is a land warrior (an earth protecter is what I gathered). Note that she resurrected that bird, that had died, as a child. This was her job, her calling. I think.

We saw Heilung at AFAS Live the night after Epica. Unfotunately we had to leave early as the sound was so bad it was hurting our ears (even with ear plugs). The bass was so loud it was like a blow to the chest and wasn't enjoyable. It's a real shame as the music and the show were spectacular.
