@@15chagO it’s a story that literally was created on the fly at first with the community piecing together stuff for years before treyarch went ahead and made the story the forefront of the game mode. Not to mention this story spans over a decade and not all of this information was released in a single game. There wasn’t even a proper Easter egg until ascension in black ops 1 and that Easter egg was pretty much contained to that map until future games. Nothing about zombies felt convoluted as I played it for the past decade it felt like a mystery that was slowly being unveiled.
