Wow they Really made the 3 franchises work perfectly. Set the time in 1993 I think that after Jason goes to hell this would have worked well.

I will never understand the dream scape, Ash cut off his hand and bleed profusely in his dream, but what woke him up and manifested in the real world was resting a hot shotgun on his arm.

After Evil Dead 2 they turned Ash into an idiot. He’s not some cocky wannabe ladies man. He had a girl he loved and that was it. Also, couldn’t Freddy just create a Necronomican in the dream space and use it? Great video and channel btw

I felt like he turned that way since he already saw the evils of the world and just wanted to make himself laugh. As you can see no one basically laughs at his jokes. Only he gets pleasure out of his stupid jokes.

"Can Freddy just make the Necronomicon in the Dream World" No, The Necronomicon Ex Mortis has specific powers. Freddy's Dream Demons that give him his powers are another specific power. Just like Freddy could never create the Lament Configuration and Summon the Cenobites and Pinhead in the Dream World either. Their powers are too different to work together.

@@TheMonkePrince It's never been confirmed but it's been heavily implied the Dream Demons are representatives of the Necronomicon Ex Mortis. They gave Freddy Kruger power over dreams but once they saw how Freddy attained the Necronomicon and was basically abusing the powers that the Necronomicon possess. The Dream Demons had to step in and remove all of his powers "given or taken". Thus resulting in Freddy reverting back to a normal human being. But somehow Freddy was somehow able to change the past events of his whereabouts from decades prior. Strange I know but it is what it is. Cheers 🍻

@@ElMalito187where are you getting this info? Cause when I read FvJvA and the Nightmare Warriors sequel, nothing like that happened. Infact quite the opposite happens because Freddy is given even more power. Freddy's loss in FvJvA is more based on Ash's powers of being "the chosen one" and having crazy amounts of luck Basically imagine it more like this The Dream Demons Explore the Human Psyche and the fears in them with dreams. The Lament Configuration explores Human Morality and the Fear of what happens to the Immortal Soul. The Necronomicon Ex Mortis explores Human Experiances and the Fear of Others. They are three different experiences that while they have some overlap they dont have the same powers or abilities. Freddy's powers are closer to a Cenobite than any Deadite and considering Ash vs Hellraiser is a series too, no Deadites have nothing to do with Cenobites. Dream Demons arent Kandarian in any way

To each their own. I personally far prefer Ash of the tv series. He seemed to be a mix of the goofball from AOD and more badass a la Evil Dead 2 just in a goofy I've seen terrible things that warped me and don't wanna go down that road again.

Man i don't give a shit from a tit what anyone says, I love Jason Goes to Hell. Not just the fan service from Evil Dead (my favorite horror franchise) but the super dark comedy in it, just like Evil Dead 2. Everyone praises Friday 6 because of how it embraces the comedic side, but this one is just as funny and twice as gruesome imo lol
