I tried to get a bag in Chai color with no success unfortunately. Yours is fantastic because it’s my favorite size and style for a Kelly, retourne is so awesome. What I think about these bags being more present? Well, I have to admit that I saw many in Paris but where I live, they are really not all over the place in real life. Yes, in some areas, like always close to an Hermès boutique 😂 but not really in my daily normal life. That’s why, I wear all my bags and I love them so so much. That being said, I don’t visit my local boutique as much because what I’m really tired of is the game we have to play in the US. I’ve got a bag in Paris without any game and it was the best experience ever, the sale associate actually recognized my love for the brand, it will always remain a very good memory for me. 💕 Merci pour la video!

Thank you for watching the video and sharing your experience ! I am sorry you didn’t manage to get the Chai color, it is beautiful and rare, I love it! The undertone is very special… I love Kelly retourne as well! I prefer it to sellier actually especially in the smaller sizes! I managed to get my first bag without much trouble to be honest, but ever since that purchase, trying to build a relationship with someone in Hermes with that flow of tourists has been practically impossible me… so getting another bag basically after the first one is very very hard… that’s why I kind of wish I could just have a wishlist and just wait for the bag to arrive. They do not even take wishlists here…

@@sofialyyk I think the wishlist system is the one that is the most fair. I too, wish it was like that in the US. Now it’s the jungle of who is spending the most.

I could say the same probably! I love it! Although I have to say I prefer the functionally or the Birkin for sure 😍

OMG babe love your channel! Seriously if you lived in Australian you would basically have a Himalayan Birkin bye now.... Like you have to do a video on the system over there? we are all over here thinking that it's so easy for you guys in Paris to be able to get anything? That's why we jump on planes to hopefully be able to get a leather appointment in Paris so I don't get it x Jerusha

Coming from you Jerusha! Thank you😍 your bag collection has been an inspiration for the longest time, love watching you channel! 😊 I can imagine… I honestly wish I lived elsewhere and I would have access to a normal « work your way up to a wishlist » boutique system, because it’s horrible here! I will do a video about how I got my bags and my experience with the system as a local in Paris, stay tuned if it’s interesting 😊 But in the nutshell, I think they favor tourists here over local people, but it might be just my personal experience to be honest…

do you have the rarest Hermes leather, the gorgeous TROIKA leather bag in your collection? heard only a dozen were made, super rare find.
@sofialyyk2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, I do not have the Troika leather in my collection. I only have Togo leather, which I know is not rare or the most luxurious, but seems to be very wearable… I want to get the goats leather or box leather in my next purchase! That’s the ones I keep an eye for, but thank you for the tip, I will definitely look into Troika now 😍

I truly don’t understand the whole not wearing items because everyone else has them, nor spending/pre-spending thousands of dollars to have the bags sit. Do you really plan to spend thousands on more bags just to have them sit in a ‘unused collection’?

You are so right! Absolutely not! things are made to be used and loved, not cherished, it’s so unnecessary! I mainly do not wear my bags ATM in Paris, because I do not feel safe walking around with them when I am alone unfortunately… What I meant by « everyone has the same bag » is that style is so much more than a designer bag… style is something so personal to me and I want it to be reflected more in my personal choice of accessories, having said that, I love wearing particularly my Birkin, I think it adds so much to the outfit, especially to the casual one:) At the moment, actually Constance is on my wishlist, which is a more casual bag and can be worn crossbody, hopefully I’ll be able to get it soon 😊 I feel like it would be a perfect everyday bag 😍

I don’t understand having to break in a shoe … especially 1000$+ a shoe should fit comfortably right away otherwise not a good shoe .
@sofialyyk2 ай бұрын
I am not sure why exactly, but in my experience, the more expensive the shoe is- the longer it takes to break it in 😅 perhaps it’s the leather that is used that is thicker and more rigid… But yes, some brands are better than others and don’t hurt that bad at the beginning of wearing 😊

I think we all have different foot shapes, some styles are just better for certain feet shape... probably not to do with how expensive or how inexpensive is but more to do with the style of the footwear - certainly materials shouldn't be scratchy from get go and then... it's about how long the shoes last for perhaps thereafter to determine whether it justify the cost... and perhaps one can never fully justify the cost of 'luxury items' so to speak from a material/labour cost per se but rather whether using/wearing them gives one immeasurable joy 🥰
