The Black series definitely gets points for articulation but the 3-7/8 figures were compatible with the vast ships and play sets , and much more affordable. When episode 1 came out the toy line at toys r us and other stores was so exciting that you really wanted to buy everything they made from the movie. Nowadays , your lucky if the Black series makes a vintage ship . Just miss the thrill of multiple choices of ships and sets and figures.

The black series six inch are my favorite figures but one thing I hate are when people online charge way too much for something as simple as a basic storm trooper. I live in a rural area so it's hard to go to the stores with the exclusives so I have to rely on amazon and eBay and people on those are psychopaths with the prices they charge.

Impressive collection! I was introduced to the black series by watching the Mandalorian series: I got the Mando, the Beskar armored Mando, the heavy infantry Mandalorian, IG-11, Boba Fett and Bossk. Now I´m planning to get the rest of the bounty hunters (I hope Hasbro would rerelease the Dengar figure in the archive series, fingers crossed!) along with Vader to recreate the bounty hunters scene from episode 5 and now I´m tempted to get Han Solo from Endor battle and Luke in his pilot suit. Now if the Praetorian guards from TLJ weren´t that expensive I would get the five guards with Kylo and Rey to recreate the fight scene in TLJ (no matter how much haters try to bash this scene, IMHO is one of the best sword fights of the franchise). My collection is about the look and i find the kits to be much more detailed in some cases and have great articulation. 9 times out of 10 i'll choose to get a kit of a charter over the black series figure if its available lol

Not the guy in the video but I’m his channel mate and can answer your question! The boxes for Lightning Collection are slightly bigger but the figures are almost the exact same size. I’ve actually swapped some of the Ranger heads on to Black Series bodies and the look pretty great. Hope this helps! -Nate

@@OutOfTheBasement Hi, yes it is difficult to find certain figures. There is a facebook group where we give good advice. There are just two or three French shops online where you can find the majority of figurines. The others offer just a few figurines. But generally you have to make pre-orders to be sure you have them because soon after you can no longer find them or the price doubled. In fact the big French collectors place a lot of orders on online sites in England.
