This guy doesn't have a wife but an escort with longer contract than usual, when she estimates her worth she considers what would pay rich men to be her sugardaddy because I'm sure she doesn't own anything, doesn't have a job or any skills who could help her to make money. This kind of trophy wife are the most entitled people because they are not used to hear NO and that's a shame.

@@lunargames5246 I think it's great if people respect vets but I would not go as far as demand it. Some people have valid reasons for being put off by military. I recommend meeting people at private parties. I stopped dating and was single for nine years before meeting my better half at a private party. In that way, you not only meet face-to-face, you also get a chance to see how they interact with other people. Plus, those dating apps are infected with weirdos and hohos, so just take it easy and look after yourself😊

Ysed to be dating 'rules' of conduct. Like, if YOU ask someone out, u pay. The invited one asks u what you're having and orders something equal or lower in price. Also nice for invited one to throw down a good tip, or pay for a round or 2 of drinks. No matter which one u were...invited or inviter...your job was to be nice , keep it light, keep it fun, and treat your partner well... and don't trash talk anyone. Never waste anyone's time by being a bad date.

I met a guy at a bar, once, and he asked me out. He seemed nice enough and I was single so I accepted, dressed up nicely in my favorite 4" high boots, and he picked me up from my house and drove us to a nice restaurant, 4 miles away, a couple days later. The conversation seemed to be going alright. He did ask me to sit next to him, rather than across, a couple times, but I declined. In my mind, I was thinking that I _might_ be more comfortable after a couple drinks, but not yet. I did tell him that, "I wasn't ready to sit by [him], yet." Anyway, shortly after that second decline, he's talking about something, I don't remember what, and I'm trying to _show_ him that I'm listening and interested in what he has to say by _adding_ something cute to the conversation. I start to say, "Well if that's true then,..." I don't remember what we were talking about but I was _trying_ to fucking PARTICIPATE! But he suddenly interrupts me yelling, "Oh, so now you're questioning my INTEGRITY?!?!" He then continues to rant and rave for the next few minutes while I sit across from him, trying avoid flying spittle. I tried apologizing. I even tried telling him that I would wait until he was finished before I would speak, thinking maybe he was feeling unheard and not listened to. But he obviously wasn't paying attention because he also accused me of _not_ apologizing to him! So, I just left. And walked all the way home in those damn 4-inch heels! A friend of mine just happened to be our server, that night, and told me, later, that guy brings a different date to that restaurant EVERY week and that MOST of his dates end up just like ours did! He wondered, out loud, why in the world that guy would bring all his dates to the same restaurant when they almost all end up the same way. 🤣😂 That definitely made me feel much better about my situation, though.

I had a great job with a UK Bank and got made redundant, my wife said "What are you going to do about this". I ended up taking a job at a far lower wage. She was not happy and i ended up leaving my second wife taking my two children that i had custody of from my first marriage. We moved into a Motel and then into a Domestic Violence refuge. Being the only male i was the fox in the hen coop, i could not go into the laundry room if there was a female resident in there, i had to go to the front desk every morning to pick up the subway fare to take my children to school as by that point i was unemployed. I remarried and through her support i for the last 20 years had a steady career that gives us a great standard of living, my children have their own families and are happy and i am so sorry that this kind of view is even alive today. I am one of few men that will talk about this as it is taboo but i am happy to talk about it not because "I am Special" but i now understand what women have gone through and attitudes like "I am used to a certain standard of living and you are lacking"

Except if they didn't arranged different 😊 Feeling bad for that guy with that b**ch on dinner.

This is how I have always approached it, but the 1 time I dated an American - a hot, ex-military, sweet + cheeky Southern boy - he was so anxious the first time I bought him breakfast because he was convinced I was "testing" him. I was just like, "No, I'm saying thanks for a fantastic night," & he was just like :sweats nervously:. He relaxed into it as time went on, but his initial culture-shock was clearly large. It was amusing, but I didn't really "get" it until I went over there; where he's from, it really is an extremely gendered dating culture. I legit had a server at a wings restaurant visibly giving him the evils when I paid for our lunch, for just 1 example; it would have been funny, if it wasn't so confronting, for me. It's a totally different environment. I don't think it should be a controversial topic that men deserve to feel just as special + valuable + appreciated as women get to do, & like their company is worth the cost of a meal or two, sometimes. It's just what feels natural, to me.
@amatije

@@mysterylovescompany2657 I think Americans have bigger cultural shock than us from EU,cause we know more about their customs than they know about themselves . We are bombarded with Hollywood movies,their music,their tv shows. I know that's for fun but in every show/movie they are proud of their country,their holidays etc. In the late 90s most people that are from US (that I interacted with) didn't know where's my country and that Yugoslavia doesn't exist no more. Maybe is just poor school system 🤷

@@amatije oh, gosh, if you're from that region _&_ those years, then I am so, so sorry for the times you have had to live through. I can't even imagine what it must have been like. I don't think it's Americans' fault, really; they're socialized from a very young age to kind of think that America is the world. Their schooling - particularly the history curriculae - is intensely nationalistic, & their media is, for the most part, very insular. Heck, just a few years ago, I had a memorable conversation where an American acquaintance was complaining about the callousness of Australians not seeming sufficiently interested in the yearly anniversary of the Two Towers tragedy, so I said, "Well, do you observe the anniversary of the Bali Bombing?" (another early-2000s tragedy, but one in which _Australians_ - as well as others - died, & which completely rocked our nation), & they were like, "What's that?" It's not their fault, the narrowness of what they're taught growing up - but I do believe it is correct that any adult should seek out more knowledge of things + places + people that don't directly relate to them, just to be better informed in general. But my culture is very different, & not all Americans are ignorant, so I try not to judge too much.

@@mysterylovescompany2657 yes I'm from Croatia. Maybe I didn't express myself well but I was referring to those people from America that I was interacting at that time. Thank you for such a great explanation why they behave the way they do and why they think that America's the world. We here have Geography and History of course. In Geography class except our country we learn about the whole world.About the continents, oceans and seas. capitals of every country. We learn about customs of every country, ethnicity and what's specific for each country/continent. We must know the biggest cities,rivers and mountains. What currency is where etc. Very interesting curriculum. The same is in History. Except our land's ,we must know history of the world. At least that's how it was when I was going to primary school, which is mandatory for all kids from 6th or 7th year of their life. It last 8 years,till 13 or 14,then we have high school or gymnasium (3 or 4 years) and then university (4 or 5 y) Our school system is very different than US. We have graduation after primary and after high school. Without graduation you can't move to university. I remember Bali bombing,it was horrible. And I remember 9/11. That was such a shock for us. I can relate to that 1st one. I went out with a guy a few times who I thought was just playfully telling me “Dos” and “Donts.” One night, he stripped down naked and tried to have sex with me. I politely and repeatedly declined. I must have bruised his ego because the following afternoon, I received a VERY long text stating everything he finds negative about me. He criticized my body, lifestyle, home, personality, etc. I took it pretty hard until I showed my best friend the text. She said “Welp, at least you know all of those things could be easily improved if you felt like it and he can continue to go to the gym all he wants but it won’t make him any taller than his 5”6’ broke-ass, unemployed, douchbag self.” She was SO right. My BFF is the tits.
