Story 1: Ok, i'll admit i was a bit skeptical about things early on in the story, but the moment i heard it was being run by Chinese, it all started to become clear. As a cook of 20+ years myself, ive seen some pretty bad kitchens and kitchen practices in my day. Chinese, and othe asian restaurants/kitchens, are either immaculate or disgusting, and this is clearly a disgusting one. I spent a little under 4 years at a Vietnamese place, and they were spotless the whole time i was there and never had a single health violation the whole time i was there. Good on the OP for getting revenge here and getting the place shut down and getting "cook" pretty much blacklisted from anything nearby. Also, throw some mud at the mother too for forcing the OP and the brother to work there all that time. Pretty bad move there. Also, why didnt the golf course step in and do something about it before all of this? Are they just as shady behind the scenes, or just totally oblivious? Story 2: Yeah, the husband here is a major piece of work and a big jerk here. He's clearly lying about everything here, and all his searches about divorce and whatnot is just to cover his own ass in case the OP files and he doesnt lose everything he has. If i were the OP, id want to get away from him and ASAP. Story 3: For the first part, the bf is the jerk. For the second part, the OP is the jerk. This whole thing was a no-win situation for anybody really. Both people can do better in the long run.

Story #2....the husband definitely cheated and possibly has other kids. With that being said, DIVORCE HIM! Although it's easier said than done, there were way too many flags on the play. He really , basically confessed by him stating that if they moved away, he could care less. That goes to show what kind of "man" you have. If he's willing to abandon his own kids, which bc if his affair, didn't ask to be here, says alot about him. Of course he wouldn't care bc he don't have to one own up to what he did. And two it confirms your suspicion all along. So in my opinion, file for divorce and get those DNA tests done on the children. That in itself will confirm everything and then you can move on. As the OP said, their children are grown. So there would be no need to stick around. Although you should never stay in a toxic and broken relationship bc of children.
