Short Story. Take notes and keep records. You can sue the teacher sometime later. If you can't sue, make sure anyplace teacher tries to apply for a job that you let them know what she did.

Story 1: what the mother did is grounds for multiple charges, she lied to a officer, falsifying claims and basically lied in court and harassment. That alone is enough to get a few months in jail. It mostly depends on the severity of the crime but Ops mother is lucky Op didn’t press charges.

For that third story I feel so bad for the op. But I'd cut them out of your life. I mean, they kicked the op out of the house because of a story...A FICTIONAL STORY! Story three: an absolutely shining example of how terrible extremely religious people are against anything against normal. It is a durty reminder of how many people say " ooh, these and these were in this and this war soo terrible to oyhers, we will be never like that" and then just be as terrible as these times. Just absolutely sad.

Third Story: I'm baffled by it seriously on how out of touch the teacher is and how much dumb the parents are. As a person who wrote stories and commentaries in my school paper when I was still studying on a Catholic School no less, didn't get any reports or problems on writing on sometimes weird subjects as even the nuns and priest that runs the school knows it is entirely fictional whatever it's written on the stories as it's official written on the school paper for everyone to see. So The teacher should be banned from teaching who doesn't know what's fiction and what's reality, then the OP should cut contact with the parents permanently for the stupid reason they kicked out the OP.

@Charles-7
@Charles-7 Жыл бұрын
it's possible that she want to get away from the one that knows her as one, after knowing that no one in her hometown will bend to her, not even her own brother, she likely doing it again in another state, and with narcissists they'll find ways in getting what they went, even after knowing that are, and will not care if they get caught doing it.

Hollywood and San Fransisco. They are both icons of narcissism over here but in 2 different ways. Hollywood embodies the idea of fame/money in addition to having all eyes on you because your so famous and important. San Fransisco has the issue of "It's full of people that are better than everyone else and have the right ideas" So you have a bunch of narcissist congregating together to tell eachother how amazing they all are. xD

Story 1: With the exception of the father, who is a great dad here, the OP needs to disown his family here. The sister and mother are among some of the worst people i've ever heard. I really cant decide who is worse... the sister for being such a crazy liar, or the mom for being a crazy enabler. It really sucks that the cops came down hard on the OP at first over the "he said she said" attitude, but with her stupid social media posts and the fact that cameras are pretty much everywhere nowadays. The fact that the mom kept trying to get the OP to take the fall here was absolutely crazy and stupid. The OP really should've disowned her for doing that, and the father should've divorced her, not just threatened it. Story 2: You have a stage 5 clinger here. I'm very surprised that the OP has been with this guy for 8 years. Sounds like 8 years of misery really. Story 3: As soon as i heard that it was super religious people in very small town Georgia and 2 male characters as love interests, i knew immediately where this was going to go. All i can say is screw the OP's parents, screw the OP's church group and screw the OP's english teacher. You didnt mess up at all, they are just Grade-AAA jerks here. Another case on how religion brings out the absolute worst in people. Story 4: While prices nowadays are high and aren't fun, that doesnt give anybody the right to act like this. I live in Canada, and they've been charging for plastic and paper bags for quite a while now... and some places are more then just 10 cents. They encourage you to bring your own bag, and some places even offer (very small) discounts for bringing your own. This Karen was just being stupid and likely trying to get something for free or cheaper, and good on the cashier for staying calm and pretty much ignoring her dumb rant.

Second story... alone time is critical to healthy couples. My grandparents had the healthiest relationship, and it involved my grandmother reading her newspapers and novels alone during the day. while grandpa had his art studio (he was an art professor) where he did projects and blasted Pink Floyd. They spent most of their time apart, save for meals (they cooked together), social gatherings with family, watching shows that they both liked on television, and bedtime. They loved each other to no end and she still misses him. I think that a lot of the health in their relationship came from respecting space. You don't need to be next to someone every moment of the day, that's an unhealthy obsession. You have a truly healthy relattionship when you know for a fact that your partner still loves you and you trust them to be away for two weeks (grandpa visited Japan several times as part of a college exchange program, as well as the middle east.) She never doubted him and vice versa. If you have to keep tabs on your partner this much, your relationship isn't worth it. Either because your significant other is violating your trust, or because you aren't offering trust. Either way, it's unhealthy for both of you.

The last one reminded me of my sisters love for a girl. But her parents are extremely religious and their daughters went. Nearly everyone knew of the secret relationship between them 2 until the favorite brother narced on them about their relationship and they were broken up. The parents on the following Sunday school ranted and raved about this ungodly sin and behavior. Long story short they watched them like hawks and they were knew allowed to sit together or being in a room together alone. They had to be with an adult and no talking on social media for fear the other girl would be abused

My response to story 3; When I was in college I worked at an assisted living home that had a church in it. I worked in the kitchen making lunch and supper for the residents. On Sundays a lot of the residents families would come to the home and go to church with their moms or dads who lived at the home and after they’d come and get breakfast after and I usually served. This is how I learned that some of the rudest and most bitter people you can ever meet indeed go to church on Sundays. People who base their whole life around religion and live by what’s right and wrong according to the Bible are the people that I stride to avoid in life.

Corporate can't do anything about it because they're required to charge it by law, and the money made from the charge must go to a charity of the company's choice. Some supermarkets have just completely scrapped the small disposable bags because they just keep causing arguments at checkouts. It's very well established you must bring or buy the reusable bags.

It's so depressing when people forget what Christianity is really about and decide to betray and ostricise an innocent young man all because he wrote a love story between two men, I mean seriously, his own family, what a bunch of over zelous jerks, and I hope that teacher knows they ruined a life that day. I am a Christian, but I personally believe that views like what happened in the third story are over zelous an cruel. I personally am straight, but attacking someone like this is just making our religion look bad. I may get blasted for this but I am a good person, I shouldn't be judged for my opinion.

I recall Jesus saying to Matthew (I think) something to the effect of, "Judge not lest ye be judged." That passage was about hypocrisy. Also, that town must have been high on Leviticus-flavoured Kool-Aid.

1. Why are people like this? And why don't we do something like make it a crime to be evil. 2. 9:00... She moved into the gas room made me question my sight and hearing.

Story one has an update, but I'm not a good narrator so read for your percussion. The parents and the OP went to family therapy and the mom finally saw that it was her fault for playing favoritism. He got into the father's business and was a manager of one of the buildings that the father owns. One day the sister came back with her bf and with a positive pregnancy test. The parents let her stay in her old room, and tell her to retake the test to confirm that she is pregnant. She bribes them for a house in Cali and a lot of money, and their father provides it with a contract saying that you will not contact or go near the baby and them if she does contact them, and to change her last name so they don't associate with her anymore. She agrees because she never cares about the baby. It wasn't until the sister went to a psychologist that she's diagnosed as narcissistism. They broke up when they got to Cali and when he found out how she got a house, he did the same thing, but he wanted a less expensive house and less money compared to his sister. OP said it was a lot of money, but the father said it was all worth it for the grandson. They will tell them as he gets older that he is their grandson and his mom doesn't want him. The grandparents had to get a nanny for the baby because they were getting old. It was months later that the sister called the OP to still complain that he should have taken the blame, but he said to stop bringing up the past because he's over it, he's a manager of one of the stores of their father's stores and doing well. She tries to one-up him that her life is great but he hangs up because he feds up with his sister's narcissistic ways. The baby is okay, the grandparents are doing well so their marriage is patched up, the relationship between OP and his mom is stable, and he is having a good life without the sister's in their lives

well, if I were the first person in USA, I would have deffinetly used the court to make those policemen beg for mercy, I would haras them legaly till I was bankrupt only to destroy their lives. I would have also gotten on the news and outed both the sister, the mom and the cops. After the dust settled I would borrow a lot to buy a home and run away with the money.I would just love doing that. And my sister, yeah, she would have lost both a brother and my parents would be searching for me all over the world. I would settle for sollitude and hunter lifestiles. Never to return to the society that didn't belive me.

That's a high estimate on the probability. My estimate: the chance is equivalent to getting trampled by a stampede of wild elephants between 3:55 and 4:00 pm on July 4 of any year during a hailstorm.
