Woah the Shoelace USA lore is getting interesting. ENTJ is the founder of the company, yet multiple generations of ISTJ’s ancestry have worked there. This leads me to a few different theory: 1) ENTJ is sucking the life from his employees to achieve biological immortality and hinder his aging process. 2) ISTJ’s family line severely compressed and reproduces extremely quickly; they may even be biologically asexual, as that would explain why they all worked the same job-the have the EXACT same genes, meaning the exact same brain, making them extremely likely to sustain the same behaviors and interests. 3) The shoelaces represent or are directly correlated with the flow of time-shoelaces that are obviously meant to be tied. 4) ENTJ is mass-producing ISTJs, though this one kind of goes with theory 2.

Also, the other rationals and two of the idealists are working against the ENTJ: 1) ENTP suspects foul play on the part of both the company and the founder, so he voices his concerns to the INTP IT guy. 2) INTP, disguising hinself as a meek old menial to avoid the attention of his ESTJ boss and the smothering ESFJ Head of HR, opens up a backdoor in the company firewall, both to allow himself to play DOTA and provide an infiltration passage way for … 3) INTJ, who thanks the INTP for being gracious and leaks evidence of the company’s corruption to the public. 4) At the very same time, INFP writes his book, serving as an allegory for the inethical practices and hardships he had to face: 5) ENFJ, learning about both the data leak and having read INFP’s book, takes to the streets, burning shoelaces and protesting against who he and his allies see as the problem.

Pretty good (which is a true compliment from an ENTJ). But the CEO stuff is a bit old and not as descriptive of an ENTJ you might believe. Most ENTJ's are not CEO's. They could just as well be the security guys heading your way. It's fun to se a new MBTI wiseguy making fresh stuff. Keep it up!

My ENTJ dad, an Air Force pilot, actually didn’t particularly want to be a general because it would have kept him from ever getting to fly. ENTJs are goal oriented but in his case his goal included staying in the cockpit.

The funny thing is, it isn't really all that hard for us to open up. It's just our lack of tact explaining our very real emotions that can be mild for us but abrasive to others. If I make a mistake and it makes me sad or insecure, I will instinctively look for 5 different reasons to not be and it works almost every time. If I ever truly need to "feel" my emotions, I'll do it while listening to some good deep music in my car or at home or watch a nostalgiac movie.

Personality "types" arrived at via the Myers-Briggs test are completely meaningless. The test was developed in the 1940s based on the totally untested theories of Carl Jung and is now thoroughly disregarded by the psychology community. Even Jung warned that his personality "types" were just rough tendencies he'd observed, rather than strict classifications. Several analyses have shown the test is totally ineffective at predicting people's success in various jobs, and that about half of the people who take it twice get different results each time. Jung's principles were adapted into a test by Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers, a pair of Americans who had no formal training in psychology. To learn the techniques of test-making and statistical analysis, Briggs worked with Edward Hay, an HR manager for a Philadelphia bank. This isn't a test designed to accurately categorize people, but rather a test designed to make them feel happy after taking it. This is one of the reasons it's persisted for so many years in the corporate world after being disregarded by psychologists.
