"If he wants artistic integrity, then let him drive around in a Prius" that's quite possibly my most favourite line by Marvin because it calls out the narcissism of Vince and is quite relevant to people that don't think they'll ever need to make tradeoffs to achieve success.

Marvin is the best. He actually tries to look out for them all the time by yelling at them like an Uncle or close friend
@devilpupbear093 жыл бұрын
He's such a bummer, always shouting & giving bad news. Not once has he called on birthdays or anytime they finished a movie
@mr88833 жыл бұрын
@@devilpupbear09 I guess he has to cos he's portraying typical hollywood star's accountant. They tend to spend on lavish sh!t before they even got paid or signed contracts for next movie. Lot of them actually bankrupt cos of that. They spend and spend, thinking next movie will bail them out but half way filming they can't be bothered listening to the directors, agents & then movie gets cancel, they get sued for no honoring the contract. NO money gets paid. Nothing. Then bankrupt

Marv was definitely one of my favorite characters... small role but he was so integral to creating the feelings of that financial roller coaster everyone is familiar with. I loved how there was always something in every Marv scene that illustrated how stressed out he was... getting his blood pressure taken, the half bottle of Pepto on the desk as if he's sipping it regularly... so so good. And yet you always got the impression he's sort of just putting on the act for his clients benefit, when in reality he's actually obsessive about his client's financial well being.. such a well scripted and well acted character.
