How can someone pay 13,000 for a dress that is one of the top selling dresses of Kleinfield? It is not a unique designer model, it is at this point a mass selling product that many brides have worn.

Why is there such an emphasis upon wearing an overpriced wedding dress for one day when the bride and groom cannot afford it? Respect the family's and or friend's budget and consider their obligations/circumstances. Remember the giver might unconsciously feel obligated: They throw the price of the gown in the couples' face throughout the marriage and especially beyond. They feel entitled to the wedding and or wedding dress conforming to their wishes. When my sister married, she rented her designer gown plus the ball gown for the MOH (including alterations) and returned it along with the groom's tux. They spent greater sums of money on purchasing homes, cars and travel.

I hate it how everybody (including Randy in a way) pushed the mother to spend over her budget! So unconsiderate of a daughter! At first I thought the mom of the bride in the fitting room was Diane's sister: they look so much alike!
@CeltycSparrow2 жыл бұрын
This consultant made a MAJOR mistake (which I thought was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional) when she chose to completely disrespect and ignore Mom's budget of $10,000 and she put the bride in her "dream dress".... a dress that was $3000 OVER Mom's very generous $10,000 budget...and she has the bride come out in THAT dress as the VERY FIRST dress to show the family, so OF COURSE the bride fell in love with that dress because the higher price allows for higher quality in the fabric and detailing of the dress. So naturally, anything cheaper is going to be a major disappointment for the bride, because (as we saw happen) the bride fell in love with the first dress (which DID look stunning on her) and wasn't happy in any of the other dresses because they couldn't compare to that first dress, being of lesser quality. And now, she and the consultant are going to try and leech another $3000 out of the Mom. I think if the bride wants to go over budget, she should foot the extra cost herself....ESPECIALLY if its that much over budget. There is a difference between going a couple hundred dollars over and THREE THOUSAND dollars over. Thankfully for her, Mom was willing to give her daughter her perfect dream dress, but a LOT of times, I've seen the bride leave brokenhearted and empty-handed, because Mom can't pay for the dress. And I am SHOCKED that Randy wasn't more respectful of Mom's budget and encouraged the bride to go for the more expensive dress. It was a strategic manipulation on the consultant's part. She recognized this family as one of those who can invest 10 grand in a dress, so she put that dress first, hoping to impress the bride so she would get a more expensive dress sold (and for her, a much better commission, I'm sure) and it worked this time.

I’ve noticed this with Kleinfeld. All of the consultants show dresses that are right at the maximum budget, or higher. Which in my opinion is not right.
