This happens so often in episodes with pageant people in the entourage. They would rather see a pageant dress than a wedding dress. I'm so relieved the mom came around and she looks bridal perfect in that last dress!!

Right. I usually get so upset at the pagent episodes cause its like they aren't going on stage, they're going to get married. They're family tend to forget that. Then with the pagent coaches there ugh. But I'm happy mom took off her pagent hat and just saw her baby girl becoming a bride.

@@QuayHollywood Yes, it's as though they're looking at the wrong person entirely, isn't it? Pageant coaches also tend to dominate the style conversations, but the woman with Ashley's crew was very tactful, I thought. The mother has an unusually expressive face. When she doesn't like something, oh boy, does it show -- and she doesn't look very attractive. When she smiles, though, she's beautiful! A smile improves anyone's looks, but this mom almost looks like two different people.

We're all creatures of habit, and I think pageant moms all have to come to the realization that this isn't a pageant where their daughter is competing with 50 other glittery girls. It's a wedding where only SHE'S allowed to wear white, where she will naturally shine even without a bunch of gems and sequins.

I love when the moms don’t actually like a dress, but they end up telling their daughter she looks beautiful and give her the ok she’s looking for. Every mother can tell when their daughter feels beautiful in a dress. And I think some of these moms see how happy their daughters are, and they do the right thing by telling them they love it

Absolutely. And there also is definitely a way that you can say, “If you’re happy I’m happy” and have it be genuine and sincere, just like here. I feel like so often those words are used as a flippant, “whatever, if you’re happy I’m happy” kind of phrase. Glad to see the healthy relationships on show here 😊

The brides fiance's mom is adorable 🥰 Not easy to exceed a Pageant winners expectations for finding a wedding gown. However, Happy this bride to be stood up for herself knowing the right gown won her over. The best instances are when the least expected gowns look the best on the brides to be 🥰😍💞❤️

There are tons of YT videos about the lying that goes on on these so-called "reality" shows, and how the producers command people to play up or play down certain emotions, etc., as they feel the viewers would respond best to. It's all hype for ratings, nothing more. Just a bunch of lies, and the bridal shows, and the house shows are the absolutely most controlled lies of all the shows.

Oh FGS, She's at least 30 years old and her mother is still trying to dictate how she dresses. These "pageant" people are so shallow and have tunnel vision when it comes to gowns. Pageant girl here, pageant gowns are worn to impress judges. Future pageant brides, do not bring a big group because you are there to ONLY impress yourself. You are no longer being judged. It's your day and you have no one to fight the day with.
