It seemed promising, they were paying me much, much more than my old job, I get free healthcare and insurance, and they seem to be helping the world with this new product. The only person who did not seem to like my new job, or the facility, was Jeff's brother. Jeff died a few years ago from some kind of cancer, one that I had never heard of before. It felt like I had been driving forever, just trying to get home from the bar in this pea-soup fog. The colors of everything were subdued. Only the cheery yellow of the hood of my new car offset the muted tones I viewed as I drove. It must be approaching dawn. The fog was a blue-green, twilight color. Only the cones of light from the streetlamps made the fog any lighter. It felt like my head was starting to clear a bit from the haze caused by too many beers and too much smoke. As I rounded the corner, I knew I would be home soon and I could crawl into bed. Oh great! Down the street , I saw a car plowed into a tree. The collision had twisted the car so it was halfway out in the street. Its taillights were still shining. A police car was parked by the side of the road. The officer was shining his flashlight on the driver. Slowing down, I tried to work my way around the accident, trying not to rubber-neck. Funny, the car was also yellow and looked all too familiar. Could it be?... It felt like I had been driving forever, just trying to get home from the bar in this pea-soup fog. The colors of everything were subdued. How can I get started on the road to making music like this?

You’ll need a computer, MIDI keyboard and DAW software. I use Logic Pro X but there are free ones like Reaper. You can also get free synth VSTs and FX plugins such as Vital, Valhalla Supermassive, Deelay by Sixth Sample, Surge and the freebie synths from U-HE. Depending on what DAW you have, it may come with VST and FX options. Then I’d suggest simply KZbin searching beginner tutorials for the DAW you use and go from there! I hope that helps!

Wait, there's nothing relaxing and calming about this. It's absolutely dripping with tension and menace! While the pretty young kindergarten teacher is cheating on her fiancé with the assistant principal in the back seat of the yellow car parked not really far enough away from the school, the eerie green fog that they hope is concealing them is creeping relentlessly across the flatlands by the river. Soon it will engulf the entire county swallowing whole communities and rendering the lovers' petty indiscretion completely moot.
