Entrance Of The Shades

Entrance of the Shades from La Bayadère is an exquisite work staged by our classical teachers Joanne Michel and Lynette Wills for the 2020 student Showcase, filmed in our studios and performed by our (then) Level 7 & 8 students.
The simplistic elegance of this renowned ballet was an ideal piece of repertoire to learn online during lockdown as, aside from the snaking line of arabesques in the beginning, the rest of the adage hardly moves, and students were able to rehearse in their small spaces at home.
