Living in the city when say the Rule of Law breaks down, or there is a Cyber Attack that wipes out the Internet, or Banking System, or Power Grid etc, things will get tribal PDQ. So STUNNING. So BRAVE. So STRONG. So INDEPENDENT. For those of you out there that think everythink is fine, that nothing is wrong, that the Power Grid can't go down, that the Banks are Impervious, that the Internet and your Social Media will always be there, read up on the History of the world. Many civilizations fell when they were at or near their peak, with little to no warning, many others take decades to crumble. Hard to tell where we are, but the Higher things go, the Farther, Faster and Harder they Fall. It's been a House of Cards Financially since the '99 Dot Com Bubble. It's still building Gents. It will Burst. Not if, but when. These women? They are less than a Dime a Dozen. They are everywhere. Curious how fast it will take to lose the attitude. Good Luck to you.

@@randybobandy9828 She doesn't have sky high expectations. She is embarrassed to admit she wants to be single. See how you are speaking about her as if there is something wrong with her. We are exhaustively embarrassed to end up "alone," so we cling to anything that comes by and then shake our heads at others who didn't act in desperation. I put the Oreos back and told her how much it turns me off when women are too structured and kill the vibe with all the rules like it’s some sort of negotiation. Proceeds to say it’s just a boundary and then I told her “I never said I wanted you back at my place. I never invited you back and I don’t even know if I like you or trust you enough to have my address. Just keep that to yourself until I invite you, you have the option to say yes or no”. It's just narcissism. I have been single since my 2nd divorce, thankful that I didn't fare worse than I did. Largely I am alone. It's a relief. I've moved twice and might be coming up on a third time, seeing and actually living the whole of the US. After 20 years of thinking about others first, I now think about myself first. I am first, my dog is 1st 2.0. I have tried to work with these women, and it's just not happening. I always end up on the business end of the deal. I was largely alone as a kid, and now I've sort of come back to that as an older adult. I'm happy. I own my truck. I'm debt free. When I was the age of the young lady in the video, I was not happy being alone. I don't think she is either. She just doesn't have the emotional means to sustain a relationship. In fairness, I don't either. I get what she's feeling, but she has a lot more to lose than me.

To be honest with you, most people conflate single with independent. As a guy I thought becoming single improved my life, but after a couple of years of going solo i realized I was missing the independence of being in full control of my life rather than being simple. This is why when you look for a partner you want someone who has a life outside of the relationship.

An observation from the 1920s when it all started: "Maiden aunts and unmarried daughters were leaving the shelter of the family roof to install themselves in kitchenette apartments of their own. For city-dwellers the home was steadily becoming less of a shrine, more of a dormitory- a place of casual shelter where one stopped overnight on the way from the restaurant and the movie theater to the office. Yet even the job did not provide the American woman with that complete satisfaction which the management of a mechanized home no longer furnished. She still had energies and emotions to burn; she was ready for the revolution."

When you’re and beautiful and a woman the world literally seeks to serve you. They think the free ride will never end. Now they are looking for the nice guy. When they say that “I am looking for a nice guy “ I tell them they have had plenty of nice guys in their pasts. And they left them for d bags . It’s sad. I live in Thailand now. To answer your question. I live near Winnipeg Manitoba. About 15 years ago when I was in the dating world there was a trend of women becoming nurses of all types. Mostly general nurse and psychiatric nurse. The women I dated then, seemed to have a common trend. Which was get a good job, tell the world about it, make people praise you for it, and disregard any male who helped them get there. Most of them had a bad relationship with their fathers and blamed their upbringing on them entirely. By the time these women were 23 years old they had dozens of short term relationships and were almost impossible to discuss any topic seriously past what Netflix show was popular. Very hard to get along with to say the least. They almost all had multiple male friends as well. Most of which they knew as too well. Even as a young man at the time I knew to steer clear. Now it's a huge problem young men face now and divorced men face.

Nurse was all I had to hear. I've dated a couple of Nurses in the states and never again. I'm sure there's some good ones out there, but a lot of them are off their rockers.
