Heat flows from high quality to low quality region, like heat of cup is superior ( higher temp.) than heat of surronding(at lower temp.) that is why it flows from cup to surronding to obey law of conservatiom of energy

I think u did not wrote it clearly, entropy of cup increases when we add hot tea while its entropy decreases when heat from hot tea moves to surronding

If heat go from cold cup to hot cup then heat is not zero.... We also use it in mechanical work....... Why????

mohit chaudhary ......Hot cup has more degree of randomness or higher probability of randomness for a molecule as compare to cold so heat flows high temp. to low ....we know it's a natural process ....if u want to do reverse of it ...u have to do work against it .....like water flow high altitude to low ..it's another natural process ..if u do opposite to this, u will use a pump means mechanical work
