Wow, this is so bittersweet. On one hand, it's great seeing them all together seemingly enjoying themselves and giving their all to the fans. On the other hand, I can't stop the emotion pouring forth as it's the end of an era. God bless you Mickey. I don't know how you can get through the sadness. RIP Davy, Peter and Michael. You gave us one hell of a show, and you are so loved. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I've watched this clip more than once. They definitely had a blast. I noticed Davey was struggling, Mike was slowing down a tiny bit. Peter seemed fine. Micky was still bouncing around. Much respect to all of them. Condolences to Davey, Peter, and Mike's family, and Micky Dolenz last man standing.

Brilliant! I grew up with the Monkees at 13 when they first aired. Now I am 64 years old and still love them. I wish you could air the whole hour. You are not disrespectful by doing this Adam, I think it is a wonderful tribute to these 4 incredible men that went through so much and they proved the critics wrong! I miss Davy alot but the remaining Monkees will keep on keep on and I. am proud of them. Thank you for posting this dear.

I love watching the original Monkees time and after time for decades sticking it to the critics who complained and crucified them that they were a fake band. It was a TV show to begin with. The critics murdered them in the press for not playing on their records and being a real live band. So then they did play their own instruments and write their own songs on "Headquarters," they rebelled. They fired the music director, took control. They rehearsed and did live shows with only four of them. Still the critics whined. In the following decades as they aged and reunited, every time they performed and and were having a ball on stage with their audiences, they made those critics eat their own shit.

I still remember when I was stationed in W Germany in the Army, at the train station in Wurzburg heading back to Bamberg, and Last Train to Clarksville came on the speakers. Wish I could've seen them all together. So glad they did this before Davy passed away. I used to have a few of their original albums.

Adam this is incrediable!!!!!!!!!! I just cried for happiness. I hope you can do something with this and I would gladly buy the hour long on how you are going to do this. You are not disrespecting any of these guys or their families. If they saw this they would probably shake your hand and they night even break down with tears. You are remarkable. I said on some of the videos Davy is in spirit on stage, here he is on stage. Please edit more of these and I am 59, a monkee fan since 1966. Thanks!!

Sherry Combs Absolutely, great editing! I was thinking the entire time the four must have reunited in the months before Davy passed, and how ad I was to have missed it. It wasn’t until the very end when Mick, Peter and Davy linked arms on one side and Im waiting for Michael to walk over and link up, but he doesn’t-that I realized it was just a brilliant edit. Kudos!

Hi Adam, I read on what you wrote and people will never ever say something of the sort of Davy being as you put it dead (how you would say others would remark). We all love the Monkees and miss DAVY AAWFUL! I am glad Mike is doing this and this is a tribute for Davy and all of them. Like I said before I cried because I wish I could see all 4 like this in person, this is the closest I will get. People will be thrilled on this because we can have this remembrance of all 4. I miss them too, Betty, and Peter died on my BIRTHDAY last week. If I could say something to Davy, who once related the story of his own father telling him about life: "Son, it goes by SO FAST." (and of course it does), it would be this: "There always has seemed to be a special kind of bond between the American and British people and I am DELIGHTED if America as my country and as a society has been good to you, Davy." And here's what I'd say to Peter: "You were my original favorite Monkee, Peter, and I think that was because I always sensed a fine and heartfelt musician underneath all the whacky behavior of your character in the show. The Monkees' music came along at a perfect time for me to learn from you and the others, and I did-to the point where I became a professional musician myself. THANK YOU especially for that wonderful Piano Intro/accompaniment on "Daydream Believer" and for your quick wit and ability to always put a fun face on everything. And thank you as well for, in your various serious moments, being so insightful about life and things you observed, even about yourself and dealing with your personal problems." To all of the Monkees as a whole I would say: "What I've learned and been most interested in over the years is 'what it was like' for the four of you on the OTHER SIDE of the TV series and camera. The public saw the show, the media promotion of your image(s), and of course heard your voices, playing, and songwriting on the records, but as with all entertainers I somehow find the 'real' people behind the image always more interesting and human than their TV characters or public images. Hearing your reminiscences of being on that 'other side' has been surprising and greatly reassuring, in a way, because they reveal that you are personalities and people not so very different from the rest of us. For all the schtick written into the TV show, hearing about Davy complaining about Micky's loud eating (and then spreading a salad all over his face and underarms as a joke); hearing Mike describe running from the female fans as preservation of body parts; hearing Peter talk about his disappointment at showing up for a recording session and not being allowed to do anything other than sing (and not understanding that at the time); and hearing Micky talk of his interest in architecture and reflecting at different times upon the vagaries of the entertainment industry as someone who grew up within it (and who never was desperate for 'fame and fortune') have all been special moments for me, because I got to know you a bit as the people you really are. Given the image of fun and camaraderie you four as characters on your TV show projected-though I know now that wasn't always how you interrelated yourselves-I want to thank you for the picture and hope that gave to a generation of young people-a picture of how we could help each other and find fulfillment and respite in music, in humor, and in friendships with others. And I would only wish that same kind of hope and fulfillment in life for the four of you, in a very genuine way-AFTER all the show business stresses and strains, AFTER all the deals are done, and AFTER all the interpersonal road bumps are past. And I hope your recordings and music-making through the years-from the perspective of one who just sits and listens to your music as a transportive experience (in the absence of personal recollections of the recording studio, which you four will always uniquely have)-has meant as much to you as it has to so many of your fans, for whom your recordings are treasured and personalized time machines into our own hearts and lives of the past." To my fellow Monkees fans reading this, I would add: "Davy Jones' father was right: Life goes by with a snap of the fingers. Live each day as well as you can and cultivate the habits of kindness toward others as much as you are able. In some very ironic and unfortunate sense, we best grasp the value and importance of our own lives and of good relationships with others when we lose one-or-two-of them. The world is always a poorer place after such loss, and I think it's worth pondering on many levels. Carpe diem, y'all.

Now I have teenage grandson to do things like that with. He is a very musically educated 15 year old; he’s been taught about the sixties, 70’s & 80’s music by me & his parents picked it up from there, now he’s teaching me! LOL

You did an excellent - excellent - job editing .. it's almost seamless between the two shows .. most people probably don't catch them, but being an actor, director, editor and screenwriter, there are a few very minor cuts where I see the change - Mickey's slightly different clothing probably being the most obvious, and then the cut from the kettle drum at the front of the stage to Mickey being behind the drum set at the back of the stage - but still an excellent editing job ..
