@@ariseshinebright8845 Ibo and Igbo are used interchangeably. For over 400 years, Ibo was the norm and outside of Nigeria, it is the same and if you add g, people will ignore it. If you are peeved, then go round all the archives and libraries of the world and change it or stop confusing yourself.

What makes you think you can actually dictate what terms are used or not used by anyone? You seem puritanical in your belated fight against colonial things but yet use the antiquated colonial epithet "tribe" in describing groups of people. You remind me of Mr Yakubu Gowon who attempted to ban the word Biafra and even imprisoned and tortured a journalist for mentioning it, but he ultimately failed to travel the world and remove the word from the archives and libraries. @AfiaTv Hope they considered the effect of additional "Imposed loads" at the rooftop, if it will affect the "safety factor" established on the existing structure. So that we will not hear a story of collapsed Hotel in Enugu in few time to come.

If I were Enugu residents, I wouldn't be found anywhere near this hotel. I wonder if any structural integrity tests were done by a QUALIFIED company. It's been almost one year they claimed they've been renovating the Presidential hotel, and it barely looks like any work is going on. It appears the workers were staged for the interview.

I thought so too. But let him restart the hotel first. Nothing stops him from closing it for renovation and adding additional floors to it. But leaving it to rot is a no no. For that, I like Gov Peter Mbah and his team

The Israelis built the first one and they did a solid first-class job….ditto the one in Port Harcourt as well! If the contractor knows he can’t deliver a world-class job, let him leave now! I know what i’m talking about as our local contractors can’t always be trusted to have the exposure and competence to do world-class jobs. Look at the local and cheap looking roof they put on the conference centre they’re presently rehabilitating!
