This is ENUGU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN NIGERIA!🇳🇬 is a video tour of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, also known as Enugu Airport, an airport serving Enugu, the capital city of Enugu State of Nigeria, and nearby cities, such as Abakaliki, Awka, Onitsha etc.
This airport’s new terminal is one of the five international airports in Nigeria and is operated by FAAN.
Enugu International Airport serves as a convenient hub for travelers looking to reach various destinations within Nigeria and beyond. With airlines like United Nigeria Airlines, Ibom Air, Air Peace, Green Africa Airways, and Ethiopian Airlines operating out of the airport, passengers have a range of options to choose from when planning their journeys. Whether flying domestically to cities like Port Harcourt, Owerri, Benin, Asaba, or Warri, or heading internationally with Ethiopian Airlines, Enugu International Airport offers connectivity and convenience for all types of travelers. The presence of multiple airlines serving different destinations highlights the airport's importance as a key transportation hub in the region.

I love this and it’s great progress, unfortunately Igbo’s are allover social media disgracing themselves online. Talking crap about Nigeria and the economy, bad mouthing, overlooking, ignoring all progress and achievements by the federal government. Unfortunately they they forget they are Nigerians and as the saying goes, if you talk bad about your parents (family) you have disgraced and disrespected yourself as well. It’s sad to see this occurrence all over the internet.

Bro, You said you are hoping? Please note that the federal government didn't just wake up one day and said: now let us go and build an international airport in Enugu. No. The project came out of the activism of young people like you. An example is Mazi Ezeoke of Njenje Media TV who made it his mission to put pressure on the government and hold them to account. With his camera, he inspected the water supply, toilets, everything until the first international flight landed. So you need to do more yourself, don't just sit there and hope because every little helps.

So what is an international airport"? My friend this airport is more "international" than many African "international airports" e.g. Entebbe airport. And when the international wing is completed, it will be way ahead many more. So talk what you know or shush.

Thanks for this video. The quest for the upgrade of Endue airport to international status was spear-headed by young Ibos in diaspora miffed by having to access their homeland via other regions. They were joined by home-based Ibos and key leaders including Gen. Ojukwu himself while he was alive. Today that aim is achieved with Ibos and others able to travel the world from Enugu, though more need to be done. But instead of joining in to grow the airport, some people have chosen to be totally obnoxious and irritating with their heckling and snide remarks. Very irritating.

Hey sis, thanks for your effort but the video is very sad to watch. It probably should be titled *_A Celebration Of Marginalisation._* Other regions have updated airports which were by the way paid for with *your tax naira* and you are left to celebrate this rubbish in Enugu 😏 It’s just like those celebrating the rehabilitated 19th century Aba - Port harcourt railway while their money is paying for modern rail gauge and fast trains in the north and the west

@@RadioTV595 Chai! Here is one whose benchmark for excellence is mediocre. Biko, get your head out of the sand. We know the truth can be a bitter pill to swallow. Even by Nigeria standards, the airport is just as it was described: *Rubbish.* 2024 makes it exactly ten years any work at the international wing was completely abandoned. Bingo, stay in your place under the table where they’ll keep throwing bones at you because that’s exactly where they want you to be

@@RadioTV595 My friend easy, he just made a very valid point. We are better than this. So much better. Enugu is not just for Enugu people. It is the defacto capital city of an entire tribe of people. The tribe of the most travelled people in the country. So we know exactly what an airport should look like. The only thing I will add to the previous comments is that _Enugu Airport is not at all mediocre._ *_It is absolutely rubbish!_*

Ignorant geezer trying to sound knowledgeable. Gatwick Airport in the UK, one of the busiest airports in Europe, is a single runway airport, same as Luton, City, Southend all international airports. Even the famous Heathrow Airport itself has two runways and the plan to build a 3rd one has been stalled due to local agitations. But in your haste to diss Enugu, you only succeeded in making a grand fool of yourself. Next time get your facts right before you go public and make even a bigger fool of yourself. *BTW how many runways did Uli have when it was the busiest international airport in Africa?
