@@chincherri If something is destroying many personal new and long standing investments and it's taking place in your local constituency, knowing that you will be receiving enormous amounts of tax revenue from those businesses, then yes, Lagos should speak up. We both know this Lagos-Calabar express way is a white elephant project and a land grab. What they fail to see is we are in a multipolar world and everyone is watching. Foreigners will think twice, and who can blame them? We already lost massive oil deal to Angola from Total, Landmark is now moving to Enugu and countless others. Why say come and invest then show you will not protect that investment? The express way can run through plenty plenty different routes, please use wisdom. Trump will not commission a new express way through New York City abi?

Not only the Nike resort but also the whole area.. The Nike area can be turned into high profile area by acquiring the lands along the roads and demolish the shanties doted the area.. The flyover and the new hotel are now icon in that district, more quality structures are needed to complement them to make the district affluent where people can live and relax just like Wimbledon.
