Nikolas and Luke were always...complicated. Luke could usually care less about Nikolas, but in those rare moments that he remembered Nik was Laura's son, and when Nikolas was at his best, they found a way to common ground. This scene shows that ground didn't need to be Laura. They both understood way too much about being the outcast left alone, and what love from the right person could change within them.

Nikolas is a cassadine however he didnt ask to be born which is why I never understood why luke treated him so badly luke should've directed all that hatred on laura she is the one who gave birth to him

MsChemicalEngineer Luke is better with Tracy sorry just my opinion she gives Luke something that Laura could not! Laura was Luke's first true love! Tracy gives Luke acceptance and respect! I loved Luke with Tracy and adored Laura with Kevin just hope he gets out of his legal issues regarding Ryan

MsChemicalEngineer Luke and Laura lost their chemistry when Laura left in 2003 and when she returned in 2006 their was relief really not chemistry even when Luke and Laura were rescuing Lulu in 2013 and Lucky in 2015 there was great acting with TG and GF but the chemistry was gone instead of them chemistry there was respect for each other Laura will always hold a real soft spot in Luke’s heart and vice versa!! Even in 2008 when Laura woke up again permanently this time the respect was there but not the chemistry! I did not quite understand why when Laura woke up in 2008 she had long hair at shadybrook and when she was in Los Angelos her hair was shorter or straight

Luke with Tracey is a comedy show! They have cat and mouse chemistry, great acting buy two great actors. Laura and Kevin boring, but the thought of Laura with Stephan wow there was chemistry.

As someone who was there from Luke and Laura's beginning, Laura was never Luke's partner/equal. She was the young girl he fell in love with who was so enamored with the worldly older man that she willingly followed him around the world (even when she wanted to settle down) and pretty much gave him a pass on all his BS. It totally makes sense that as she matured and grew into her own, they broke up. She no longer wanted to be that girl and he just could never see her as a woman with her own mind, wants and needs - life - apart from his. Notice in the video Luke said, he hoped she'd find her way back TO him not some form of they'd find each other. He was the one to drive her away, and expected her to change her mind and come back. Not that he was the one who had to make a change. Tracy is the complete opposite. She is who she is and makes no excuses for it. And she accepts Luke for being who he is. They are partners. They are equals. Neither has to change to be with the other. So, yeah, Luke and Laura may have been each other's greatest love, but that doesn't always mean only love or lifetime love. A lifetime love only works when the people can grow together. Luke and Laura couldn't do that. Frankly, Luke was already "grown" when they met.

I think these two loved each other , I think Nikolas looked at Luke like. Father figure being as though he was looking for one when he came to port Charles as a 16 year old kid …and Luke loved him because he loved Laura but he hated his real dad so he couldn’t show Nikolas the love he should’ve

All Nik has to do is breathe the wrong way and Luke would turn on him again. No matter what, Luke has a deep-seated hatred for pretty much anything Cassadine. He tolerates him, comes close to liking him but never really does. The great thing is Nik did find love with someone else - Elizabeth - who unfortunately, feels like she owes Lucky her life but her heart belongs to Nik.

Luke's real issue with Nikolas was the fact that Nikolas was the living reminder that Nik's father Stavros forced himself on her to create Nikolas and that Laura had another man's son before having his son. It hurt him down to his ego even though it wasn't Laura's fault.

They did so many DNA tests over the years, first when Nikolas was born and then in 98-99, with Stefan being Nikolas’s dad then back to his uncle. Sorry, history can rewrite itself, but dna can’t

Luke is just NOT believable as living Tracy. It's nothing to do with her, it's just not in his face, his eyes and his voice. She's a substitute he uses for a bed and buck without risking his heart- or he's not as good of an actor as I thought.
