I was about 2 when Stone died, so I watched that story much later. I like Robin with Patrick. But this storyline always tug on my heart strings and made me fan of Robin-Stone also. I like everything that Stone said here, he’s like her voice of reason. It is true that there’s a part of Robin’s heart no one would ever reach. I’m so happy they brought Michael Sutton back for this. The chemistry is still there.

This was beautiful! To know that someone u loved & lost is always still with u. The Stone & Robin "First love/tragic HIV-AIDS Storyline is still one of my favorite from GH. I miss Michael Sutton. He is a gifted actor & handsome.

@@vampirelover22416 that was a groundbreaking storyline back then it taught so many people valuable lessons about HIV and AIDS as heartbreaking as his death was for all of us it was important to show the reality of such a heartbreaking disease and that’s what they continued to do with Robin all of those years it taught people that AIDS does not discriminate and that was a very important lesson to learn. This storyline was one of the most heartbreaking that I have ever watched but it is important to understand that it was all so much bigger than just a soap storyline it urged people to become educated and show empathy towards those who had contracted the virus 💔💔

How could she? Robin and Stone had the kind of love that would of lasted a lifetime if he didn’t get AIDS. I really wish Stone would of lived because then she wouldn’t of gotten married to that self righteous, holier than thou asshole Patrick.

@@vampirelover22416 I totally get why robin has a part of her heart that nobody else could reach. Think about how wonderful it is when u have ur first love. Everything is so new & exciting. U feel things u never felt before. It's kind of an awakening. I dont think too many people wind up marrying their first love. It ends & usually their are hard feelings & a sadness looking back that it did end. Now picture ur first love dying tragically. That person becomes canonized in ur mind & u go through the what ifs? I'm not saying robin & stone would have broken up but it's hard to match up I'd imagine to the memory of ur first love. Plus when ur a teenager it's like an all consuming crazy love. I honestly remember the summer I fell in love. It's like I was falling in love & one morning i woke up & said it to my cousin bc i had slept over. After that moment he was all i thought about. When we were spending that summer together every night it was so wonderful. I actually stopped at one point & said to myself wow I'm so lucky , this is the happiest i have ever been. " the only other time i did that was when my first child was born . Again it was like nothing before in my life meant so much

It bugged me that the writers acted like it was so terrible for Robin to go to Africa (wasn’t it just for a month) and remember Stone. It’s like marrying a widow, you have to accept that the memory is part of the deal.

@@natalieps2387 It's good. I read it when I was a teen when it first came out. Then I read it again a few weeks ago, and still got teary eyed. It basically just tells the story about her and Stone that was told on the show. There are letters in it that some of the characters wrote for his memory book that Robin made. It has letters from Sonny, Brenda, Ned, Lois, Miguel, Lucy, AJ, Lucky, and some others.

On a side note I hated what they did to aj when sean k left. He was basically a nice guy but was sick bc of his addiction. Relating to stone remember that scene where jason & aj come by & stone talks about all the meds he has to take to put off going blind a little longer & just living a longer life if quality before the disease ran its course ? So Jason q & robin were being light & upbeat & using a little gallows humor about how long it would take for stone to get down all those horse pills. Aj took it so hard. While they are all laughing to give levity to the very sad situation aj got very sad & was tearing up. Stone saw & told him it's not so bad & what he has to do. In that scene it showed that aj had a big heart. I wish they kept stone on the show I had a crush on him jason & aj at that time. I dont know if Micheal sutton was the one who wanted to go bc it looks like he quit acting other than the two guest spots he did years later with robin & sonny as a hallucination or a ghost. I always thought with robin it was her deep inner consciousness telling her to finally move on from stones death & that unless she gives up in her heart that Part that loves stone Patrick will never have her whole heart. I mean first love really is crazy love. U never forget it & it has a special place in ur heart when u think about it. It's like the world opens up completely & ur a teen so u think ur gonna marry this person have kids ( as robin & stone did ) & when ur inexperienced pysically every new step u take with that person is so exciting bc u have never done it before. U love the person so much u want it to be that way forever. So most first loves do break up so u do move on & maybe ur feelings about them get a little tainted. So imagine when ur at the height of love with ur first bf & he dies so young & tragically! U have what ifs in ur mind , u think u never would have broken up & bc u did not break up it's not tainted u never broke up bc the person was taken from u. Plus I thought in the stone robin scene it was interesting how he said to her she doesnt know they would have wound up together & that she can't even bring herself to be mad at him for giving her hiv. I know this sounds strange but I always thought robin having the hiv stone gave her was like she still had him with her. Of course she would rather have not gotten it but I always found it interesting that she never was angry with him that he gave her hiv. That as a 17 year old girl she was able to logically say he did not of course do this on purpose. It sux bc they were trying to be careful. She was on the pill. It's a good idea but a condom should be used as well with anyone too bc obviously the pill only protects against pregnancy . A condom unless it breaks protects against all STDs. It's always a risk bc it says 99% effective. That's why it's a good idea to get tested. Both people. Bc the only thing thats 100% is abstinence.

The only thing that would've made this scene even better was if they played the beautiful music that was playing when Stone passed away (and throughout the Stone/Robin HIV/AIDS Story-line). I teared up a lot during this "reunion" between Robin & Stone, but had that music been playing, even at the end when they parted again, I think that's when I would've lost it & had an ugly cry...

I'm sorry to say I missed stone and Robin's love affair first time around. I'm suprised a smart girl like robin would have unprotected sex with a guy. I always felt bad for patrick bc she loved stone so much he was never number 1 in her heart sadly. Teenage or young first love is crazy love it's so Intense and consuming. Stone died at the height of their love so of course she only has good memories of him. They didnt have a chance to break up or hurt one another. Also sonny and jason came above Patrick as well The actor who plays stone is gorgeous I wish he stayed on .

Well that was the point of having Robin contract HIV. There was a ton of stigma and by having a beloved character like Robin that people had seen grow up contract HIV the show was saying to the viewers that the disease didn’t discriminate and anyone even smart, responsible could make a mistake. And in her limited defense she was on the pill at the time, Stone’s first HIV test was negative so they thought they only had to worry about pregnancy. They were wrong.

I just watched the clip of when he was bungee jumping and robin comments then that he didn't scream when he jumped..now in this clip she said he was screaming..well he screamed after but not during..I would think the writers would watch clips before they finish writing the script..so they get their info straight..i know it stupid and minor but they mess up stuff all the time.

Robin and Jason thought they were in love but they were just running away from being hurt. Robin never gave herself time to get over Stone. She was reeling from his death and her own diagnosis and Jason was reeling from his accident. They thought they were in love but they really weren't they learned to love each other. They always say they saved each other and they did but Robin never really moved on because she never really went out when she was in Paris. She was afraid guys wouldn't date her it's why she was so uptight when she came back. It was also why she pushed Liz towards Jason because I would never push my best friend towards a guy that I use to love specially after seeing him and how he felt about Sam.
