I live in western Canada, on Haida Gwaii, that's as much west as Canada gets . No snow wherever I look. Not even on the mountain behind my house which usually has remnants of snow until early July. It's summer. It's hot. It's tend to get hotter when the wind IS blowing up from the Gulf of Mexico, since it's ALWAYS much hotter down there, because they're closer to the equator ! BASICALLY : IF the wind is blowing in from the west, east or north - in Canada - it is cooler. IF it's blowing in from the south, it's warmer. Just the way it's ALWAYS BEEN !!! The humidex rising to or past 26 to 30 is the problem they are addressing. A high humidex is far more dangerous than "dry" heat. The humidex means it will feel like 30C overnight.

Canadian industry emits 548 million tonnes of CO2. Canadian forests absorb 2.34 billion tonnes of CO2. I remember having long stretches of hot hot humid weather in the summer in the mid 70s. Was that climate change? The industrial revolution wasn’t until for the most part the 1920s so I was only 50 years afterwards you’re telling me that a population of people in the 70s that was approximately 2 billion people maybe 2.5 billion and only a very small area of each country was urban cause that much climate change in 50 years.
