After I downloaded the cell tower from sketchup I converted it to a V8 DGN file. Then I took the V8 DGN file of the tower and referenced the topo contour file to it. I used the contours of the reference file to move the tower to the correct x,y,z location.

In Luxulogy Render Settings, you have to Right click and select Import so Exterior Better gets selected and activated. In this scenario Untitled is being used as Render Setup.

Nice video - not only this but your concept. One q - how do you place the cell tower on the surface/contour lines?

iFFYtjuh, these rendering settings are DGNLIBs and do not need to be imported. All you have to do is double click the rendering setting from the Render Settings dialog or from the drop down in the Luxology Setup dialog. Try rendering a scene with Ambient Occlusion without importing and you will see it is the active render setting. MS V8i SS2 8.11.07.443
