I remember that NYC in the 80s… this is how I and my multinational/multicoloured band of friends lived! The energy and support were amazing and unforgettable despite Aids, financial crisis and all.. we supported each other, we found time for helping others less fortunate.. I believe New York has this fabulous power to bring people together as long as you’re open minded and willing! I miss it
