Nalini Devi Women’s College of Teacher Education (NDWCTE), Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Council for Educational Administration and Management (CEAM), succesafully organised a National Seminar titled “Envisioning Teacher Education with Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP): Possibilities and Challenges”. This seminar provided a great opportunity for a rich exchange of ideas, insights, and innovative strategies for advancing teacher education in India. The Programme Schedule of the Seminar included the following sequence of events:
INAUGURAL SESSION HIGHLIGHTS
The esteemed Dr Gayatri Mohanty, Principal of NDWCTE, Bhubaneswar, graciously welcomed and felicitated our guests. Dr Sabita Nayak, Professor of Education, NDWCTE, Bhubaneswar provided insightful details about the seminar, setting a perfect tone for the event.
Prof. Dhananjay Joshi, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Delhi Teachers University, New Delhi, graced us virtually with his address as the Guest of Honour. We were privileged to have Prof. Hrushikesh Senapati, Prof. of Education, Former Director, NCERT, New Delhi, and Prof. Nityanand Pradhan, Professor of Education, RIE, NCERT, Bhubaneswar deliver the keynote addresses, offering profound insights into the field of education. Dr Sandhya Rani Sahoo, Prof. of English, Head, DESSH, RIE (NCERT), Bhubaneswar delivered her special address and enriched our understanding, followed by a heartening message from Dr. V. M. Sasikumar, President of CEAM. Dr Rupam Priya, Organising Secretary of the National Seminar, in a gesture of gratitude, beautifully compered and concluded the inaugural session.
